Actually, in other regions they have extremely different metas - I remember battlecry shaman used to be a thing.

Mathmachine shaman isn't canfer, its just the focal point of the current meta because its the agressive decks. the agressive deck defines the meta the most, followed by its counter.

They do, shamans got so many cool cards to work with in recent expansions to make for fun and interesting gameplay experiences and instead everyone just flock to the easy to play aggro deck with 5 and 6 drops thrown in for good measure, really sad.

This is the exact problem with Evolve Shaman. Most of the (7) minions suck ass, and all the cost reduction stuff is at 6.

Tbh, whenever someone new joins Heathstone, they're probably going to have to buy any existing adventures with real money, they're designed so that returning players can afford the new ones but it would take forever to get them all now

Furyfoe Exactly. Losing the 1/1 doesn't hurt at all. Also it increases the odds of finding a way to clear the 3/1 Auchenai that was likely to come down. (And indeed he drew the fire Elemental just one turn later)

played this deck against a druid. I evolved a nerubian prophet and 2 totems into a 7/7 and two 2/3's on turn 5. Pretty good I think. I can win this for sure I think. He completely clears my board with mulch and 2 other spells and develops a free 8/8. yeah. nice. Plays rag then malygos
