I think Duos could stay permanently, but maybe they wont do whatever the standard mode is doing. Right now, the normal BGs doesnt have anything special going on cause the new thing IS Duos. But when this season is over, the next season can make some change that mostly focuses on normal BGs (Like Anomalies that Kripp mentioned), while Duos may only get a couple new cards but no new mechanic. Duos definitely has staying power, and its much more fun than queuing with a friend in the normal mode and trying to not stomp each other too hard so you both can have fun for most of the match

If you don't have beasts/murlocs (or aren't lucky enough to get their respective battlecry abusers before turn 7-8) quilboar just simply lose to dragons, beasts, undead, elemental and other more consistent midrange builds. They're the best endgame build, but thats if you level to 6 quickly and are lucky enough to get all the pieces in 1-2 turns.

I mean that triple pokey not sticking was 100% on your team mate. you literally bought it and sent it to yourself for him. all he had to do was play garbage, sell, repeat x3, buy pokey, send pokey, then continue his turn. instead he durdled and thought and wasted a stupidly large amount of time, and sent it over at literally the last second. your patience with randos to be able to play random duos is astonishing

I was saying back before the Quillboar change what they needed to be strong was a +1/+1 blood gem START OF TURN buffer. It had to be start of turn as end of turn would be to strong with drakari. Glad to see Blizz finally took my advice.

What I believe is they should've swapped the tavern tier of pokey and the tier 7 battlecry and death rattle quill, end of turn pokey is way stronger

This game is entirely boring now. Now it's who's lucky enough with draws to pull of exponential wins with the most basic of card knowledge. When I see a quill about to take off, I just leave, why waste time when you know every turn they grow 20x your board state. Fun game
