A great idea for items is what frostprime does for sts, just screen shot the panel describing what it does and sit it on one side of the screen for like 2/3 seconds

I think the best solution would be to have the thing that when you mention/select something it pops up in a corner for a few seconds to read. BoxBox does it for TFT and i saw Rarran also had it in recent videos. Takes some more time to edit but imo very worth it! I haven't played TFT in a few years now but still enjoy watching a video here and there and it helps a lot!

That requires hiring an editor to edit all the videos, Kripp gets like 10k-50k views on his videos, he doesn't make enough money off these to do that for hour long videos.

I've been really enjoying the videos, especially after falling out of love with Battlegrounds. While I'm still learning the cards, I find with the videos it's a good balance between explanation and learn as you go. I hope this continues so I can learn more while I play when I buy the founders stuff for the closed beta thanks to you

I still haven't won a Vanessa game, but Dooley is an easy 80% win rate. As long as you play greedy and throw the first day or two to gain a late power spike, you can come out on top. Pyg is rng simulator and Vanessa is an enigma to me.

Could do a quick recap of build each day. Or just 1 sec per item so it is possible to pause without annoying scrubbing. Lots of room to the right, could show 3 most recent items there or something, big cost in editing though. They should have a plugin so you can watch what stuff does.

At 34:40 roughly. He mentions he had to pivot so many times. Which may have led to the video title. But this is more or less the typical Dooley experience. When he said he had to swap builds many times I was expecting him to buy like a robo factory, sell it and then buy it again later for example. Dooley just doesn't have good early game setups usually. Your constantly moving around a bunch of small items, selling and buying this and that. Putting down a hamlett with 2 slows most of the early and mid game while moving around a few other pieces is not really pivoting builds. I would venture there is only one real build swap. Going from whatever you can get to dino Robo factory build is what I would call one swap into a final build.

i honestly think if people are having trouble learning the items they should just pause the video if they need to read it. Screenshotting every item and putting it in the background would take an inordinate amount of editing time. Also, once the game is released fully people will be able to learn the items at their own pace.

Would involve a lot of production value put mabye you could edit in the tooltips of the cards that are currently relevant to your build. I've been watching every video and I think I got a good grasp of the game but sometimes you click on a vender and instantly choose one option, maybe you dont need to hover over the other option but could just quickly say why that thing is the strongest on the vendor.

IMO you don't really need to show item descriptions while shopping. It's enough to tell few words fo why you chose an item, then in combat tell more about what it does. Combat is the dead time, except that Vanessa bs 😂
