@Krip, how do you recon your build works against breach/Ritual, from my experience if you get a bad spawn the minions get floored and you get surrounded and die instantly, but thats just my luck lol :)) What I did to mitigate that is drop shield charge + 1 Sniper (running 5 arsonists, 4 Snipers, 3 Clerics) and got Grim Fest (no supports) which overflows my ES to 2x amount, currently running 19k ES (8k base) that allows me to survive minion wipes until they get ressurected. Tested, font of rage does not has any interaction with the radius increase support gem , it's still tiny 3 meters. I used to use expanse on it too but quickly realize it doesnt affect rage radius, and pain offering default range at 20% quality is already huge enough (8.4 meter = near full screen. My point is save that socket of pain offering for something more impactful, like danse Macabre. Actually, if you can deal with the -15% hp (i hate it though cuz i have high hp so regen hard to catch up), use both offering effect boost is way better than rage /area increase

I was hoping to get an update on this video as the differences from the written guide are significant and have been since this video was released on the 24th. All we've seen is a Kripp sticky pointing to the Mobalytics guide, however the differences are creating a lot of confusion. Specifically: -Scattershot support, the guide says this goes on the arsonists but the video says to use it on Snipers to 3x your dmg. Seems like a big difference. -Passive node Spiral into Depression called out in video, not in the guide -Passive node Adamant Recovery repeatedly called out, not in the guide Seems like the whole armor converting to ES recovery mechanic has been dropped from the guide, but the video says it's worthwhile

I'm almost positive that increased area doesn't actually affect the radius of Font of Rage, only the base buffs from Pain Offering.

It has been noted in some comments, that the Fireflower has a bit of an anti-synergy with ES, since enemies running through the Flame Wall can shred your ES even through capped fire resistance, without giving it enough time to start recharging. Elemental focus does not work with Flame Wall, but Brutality can still remove all fire damage and with the ability to ignite enemies with the Flame Wall, while leaving the added fire damage for passing projectiles, but it has the opportunity cost of not using that support on your Skeletal Warriors. That being said, I've been playing around with Grim Feast lately to counter the constant self damage from Fireflower and so far it's been serving me quite well (I did some t15s, though not giga-juiced and with no scary mods). The nice thing is that it has the Minion tag, so it gets scaled from scepter and helmet - mine sits at level 24 and gives me 434 ES per Remnant, which is usually enough to out-regen any ES loss from both enemy damage and self damage. Another great thing about it is that it allows for your ES to overflow up to 2x the normal maximum, so with a build like this you can reach ~18k ES. It does however come at a cost of 30 Spirit, which limits your number of minions and therefore damage.

I had already been using Grim Feast, idc if its broken hes just being a nerd :P. So many people are not cancelling out the Ignite effect which is why they are still taking damage with the Fireflower Amulet. Once you add the correct gem u stop taking damage.

I play demon form witch, but one thing that I actually started doing is use Burning Inscription on Flammability and then the fire exposure on ignite, therefore my Flammability can apply both fire exposure and -res.

Did want to ask you to check out adding Firestorm, has some copascetic that fit the build, like "ignite" enemise so you don't have to use firewall as much, also has a cool Life Bounty that gives 100% life flask charges which helps survivability and Fire Exposure that lowers fire resistance. Easy to use, makes the build a lot easier...

That's not his concept, his infernalist was nothing but basic synergies trying to stack HP and armour to live. This is a meta build, by someone else, that has already been figured out since a week+ ago. That's why you see comments calling out all the bad choices, because people already know the correct ones. SSF players can't "test" anything, they can't switch items and directions like trade can. Take EVERYTHING an SSF player says with a TRUCKLOAD of salt when it comes to efficiency and power. I do not doubt that Krip decided not to show gameplay, exactly because compared to any other gameplay of the same build, it would look pathetic.

Scattershot gave triple gas clouds on command attack skill for sniper so triple dmg you delete all monsters with it. it triples your damage. Arsonists are just there to ignite the gas cloud so it goes boom. Arsonists damage don't matter anymore. 3 gas cloud arsonists fiery death gem. and boom. also need high dmg to apply ignite so Arsonists and hounds are more useful for it. Listen to kripp he explained this in video.

@@gearsrundeep6861 Interesting. I also changed to that yesterday. the snipers already do "fine" damage. You can just swap only scattershot on arsonists if a boss is dying too slowly to snipers. My clear speed on yellow / trash mobs was too bad without scattershot on arsonists. i want to ideally go like 8 arsonists 2 snipers. with 5 sockets if i can get enough spirit for it. im still only in tier 4 maps though but it feels a lot better now. i did try one tier 7 map though.

I noticed something interesting with the brutes. I think you can get their regen above the 20% hp and make them infernal legion that does not die cause of it. They naturallyt have high hp and regen. Not sure if the aoe fire dmg gonna be worth it but it might be with high hp on them. Also adding one brute with stun increase and aftershock seems to work realy well with frost mages. I keep on seeing the aftershock lots of times. I am probably settling on skeleton army with 2 wearriors. 2 archers. 1 or 2 brutes. cleric and frost mages. It seems to be good combo. it feels alot better than just having one type of minion.

Thank you for this! I've been leveling a monk after the summons nerfs (lost 2 arsonists out of 6...) felt really bad, couldn't see anything happening on the screen because of the fire everywhere. I'll try this version instead. Just hope the transition in gear won't be too painful. Respec is fine, I'm sitting at 1.5 million gold thanks to my monk. (Monk is great btw.)

Btw, you can't ele focus Flame wall, you have to use Brutality instead to stop the ignite lmao. It still does the projectile dmg increase on your minions, just won't do any other damage, which is probably worth it still, just sus...

I use a fire staff as my secondary and hit a bunch of the curse nodes with my weapon two passives to make my flame curse instantly pop and it gives -63 fire res.

The fireflower amulet is terrible for this build unless you pickup necrotic talisman since it just rips you to shreds with its fire damage. 100 fire damage might seem like a little especially given that you can mitigate it with resistances but with how firewall works, if you have 20 or 30 monsters passing through it, you're taking 2k to 3k DPS in fire damage before mitigation. Also, every time a monster passes through the firewall it refreshes the ignite which also puts another instance of damage onto you. I feel like this would be kind of rough even with necrotic talisman given that it would melt all of your minions constantly. The plus three rare amulets are just less risky especially before you get 7-8k energy shield and all of your energy shields recharge nodes.

The Fireflower amulet at +4 skills can only be beat by an insane +3 rare amulet that is often out of reach of most players. If you do use the Fireflower amulet, you need to disable Ignite from your Flame Wall using Elemental Focus, in order to avoid taking the thorns value on Ignite affix.

Can't wait to get more spirit so I can maybe get rid of the unearthed minions. I usually use flame wall and raging spirits to clear, with the occasional gas arrows on big hp monsters. I also do curse though and put some more damage on that flame wall. And since I got 2 free skeleton warriors from my scepter I made them burn and also ignite mobs, in addition to my hound and my flame wall. Kinda jealous of your tons of spirit, But then I am still in cruel. :D

Kripp: One thing I'm trying to get a grasp on. If I get the Skel Warr scepter....I can't put that many support gems into it. Am I supposed to put the warrior Skill back on and add all the support gems on the guide to the secondary set of warriors? Problem I see here...is I will be fighting for spirit. Hey Kripp, amazing video. I was playing a very similar build while levelling my new Infernalist but I was not using scattershot for triple poison volley. I am using burning inscription+spell cascade on flammbility to create a wide patch of burning ground to instantly pop a distant threat or big pack of mobs. With scatter shot now I am just destroying the act bosses within seconds. Kind of makes me sad to think about the struggle I had levelling my blood mage in first play through. It makes me wonder if the scatter shot interaction is intended or not. It just feels busted on a different level.

it appears to be based on mana regen, but thats just my guess. I have a nice 15% mana regen roll and maybe another on my passive gem... I have no mana issues with just a POT or 2 when im going all in DPS on bosses

with Ghostwrithe half of your hp is coverted to ES and then multiplied by the crazy % bonuses from the passive tree. So by stacking lot of HP/ES you can have A HUGE defence layer. Also, fast es recharge rate is > than life regen, you literally regenerate 2k ES/sec vs 300hp/sec

If SRS don't ignite, can you explain the interaction with cast on minion death, SRS, and the fireflower (take 100 damage when you ignite an enemy) + amulet applies to minionss

After a few days playing this build i'm having fun, the only problem is the amulet recommandation, the damage taken by our char from the ignites we generate (and that we need for our gas clouds) is too much, it negates the ES advantage overall. Wouldn't recommand taking the fireflower amulet

Can you people read the guides? Like come on :D "If you do use the Fireflower amulet, you need to disable Ignite from your Flame Wall using Brutality, in order to avoid taking the thorns value on Ignite affix."

@kripparrian why are you using fortress on flame wall? It adds nothing and there are support gems that do add(Arcane surge, mobility, energy barrier, etc)

What is a good substitute/stats to get for the amulet and also the shield. Actually, the chest as well. I have the chest unique but got horrible rolls and no spirit. I cannot , for the life of me, get that shield or amulet to drop. I have a hybrid build going on from this build and his previous build. Unfortunately, I stacked all armor and strength and it’s taking me awhile to get all the right pieces to convert over to this. The old build worked fine up to T10 for me but now I am just getting hammered and struggling to balance enough INT for the skill gems and gear.

My only problem with seeing the endgame build is "How do I get there with a new character?" What to get first, what items to farm for early as placeholders, where to get the actual items you want, which skills to get first, which get priority for support gems etc. Always feel a little lost looking at this from a starting character perspective.

I used a vaal on my ghostwrithe and it now converts 60%. It feels like a highroll so maybe try that if you can find another that you can afford to risk.

Isn't poison damage different in POE2? I thought it dealt twice damage to energy shield before touching your health.

For some reason the fireflowers fire skill+ does not raise the level of minion skills. Despite them having the fire tag. jsyk.

@@HaradaSayingAno Unless it's a bug that will be patched in the future- yes. I own a fireflower and tested it myself- the levels do not change with minion skills- not even SRS- but they do with flame wall. But that's not what you want the level upgrades for. An amulet with minion skills and spirit will serve a lot better. They're pricey on trade but i've found a few solo and gambling.
