16:53 Jelly is made using only fruit juices and contains no solid fruit particulate in the final product. Jam is made using whole fruits and will contain crushed fruit particulate. The reason jelly typically tastes like the inferior product between the two is because most mass produced jellies are using concentrates and little actual fruit juice. If you were to make home made jelly using 100% fresh fruit juice that you juiced yourself you would find that jelly and jam can often be difficult to tell apart from a flavor perspective.

Jam will always be better than jelly the same that chunky peanut butter is always better than smooth spread peanut butter. Nothing about the item itself, its about how our brain process the texture and whatnot. If you do your own research, it will lead to the same result albeit different reasoning, because one has (supposedly) more fiber than the other.

@@kobisjeruk I can argue that chunky will commonly be more *flavorful* than smooth - but sometimes the spread of (whatever) stuff being chunky makes it difficult to make a thin and cohesive sandwich or to be used in some dishes. Smooth allows it to be mixed better than chunky stuff. Jam can also be argued it's more healthier (most likely always, you'd have to really screw up jam and then really cut corners on jelly to have this be wrong) - but jelly can arguably be kept longer and have a sizable shelf life than Jam due to being unable to preserve any of the chunky bits better than a consistent-throughout container of jelly. But I do know people who've told me jam is awful in comparison to jelly - whilst I'll disagree. I love jam more. Especially strawberry jam with actual bits of strawberry. But some people really dislike Jam (it could be for as basic of a reason as that it *HAS* texture, and some people love less texture. Fluffier and airy foods in comparison to crunchy or solid bits). I won't say it's the "dumbest thing I've ever read"... but your comment sounds very biased for chunky stuff (which is fair, everyone's taste buds are different. I find onions 'n pickles to be the worst things in this world, and I down olives 'n mushrooms as they're delicious as hecc).

He’s big on having options. I think the idea is that it’d be a shame to not be able to spend a lot if it would vastly improve your build. (High rarity enchanted items,rerolling digsite, buying loads of diamond skills) Also ending on 50-70 gold is reasonable if the win isnt dire (no hp last round) but its setting up for potential future if he would have lost. Realistically he could have had 1.5k hp more if he bought every 10 cost but the trade off is he wouldn’t be able to afford any big upgrades if they came his way. 30-40 gold isn’t an unreasonable to spend to massively upgrade your build during a lucky day (enchanted item upgrade+2 gold skills is ~40)

The upgraded chocolate is overpriced, and he really only wanted the chocolate for Shelter fodder, anyway. Pyg gets a level up option to trade all gold for 25 HP each, which is a much better conversion rate, so Pyg has a large incentive not to take the silver/gold chocolate.

I have never seen a level 9 reward of upgrading your leftmost item. He says he has seen this, but I would say any time that happens is an error and the devs should fix that.

I wonder, at 29:53 kripp has the option to go for the training dummy. What's the reason not to go for it? It's easily worth more than 6 gold right? With the emphasis on econ/gold that kripp has it's surprising he doesn't go for the easy gold.

It’s like extremely easy to get the claw given curio. That said to actually sorta answer your question any good dps is good. The shelter gives great survivability that doesn’t really need any synergy to provide it so you can dedicate the rest of your build to what you find. That said claw is just the obvious synergy and the easy pickup.
