If you're on PC you can use < and > to go forward or backward on the video a frame at a time while the video is paused.

Captain's wheel also synergizes insanely well with Water Wheel (Large Property that hastes items and also hastes itself when you use aquatic). The Water Wheel triggers the Captain's Wheel which immediately hastes the Water Wheel. Great for pufferfish or Sharkray

Those late game Pol shops were rough. This run was full Deja vu to a run I did yesterday playing the same Crows Nest/Ship combo with an Island in treasure and Pol dodged me 4 times! 4 times I went into a Pol with 2 hits and 4 times I missed. 😢

I did a similar setup with flagship and the cloak, the in combat scaling allowed me to beat an insane poison build with healing

I can't confirm but isn't rarity rolled before the exact item? So isn't it better to upgrade the bronze crow's nest at 27:50 since it is day 9 so you have 10% bronze items and 40% silver items in shops. Therefore it is relatively unlikely you find a bronze item in a shop compared to a silver one

nice run! if you had gotten the skill that gives lifesteal and 5% crit + the one that says whenever you use a vehicle, your items gain 15% crit, you couldve gotten rid of crows nest and silencer too.

The catfish doesn't cast fast enough to make a huge difference, and there are better ways of getting crit

I improved upon this by giving the ship itself poison and made it go Mach 5 speed. Also pumped its damage on levelup several times, it was at 300+ before scaling kicked in. Also had the Matryoshka so I had the full 5x multicast, I plowed through even very strong builds, I was just too fast and healthy.

@Silasftww A matryoshka doll is a wooden figure whose two halves can be separated and inside there's another one, and inside that another, etc. In terms of the game it's that small ammo item that shields equal to its ammo.

You always get the lifesteal skill to eventually get rid of the crow‘s nest to free up 3 slots and put in an ammo item, no? That‘s so much more scaling than 10 dmg per crit (which he wasn‘t even guaranteed, rerolling there is crazy to me)

Rifle only reloads ammo if it's your only weapon, if he kept stinger the rifle would have only shot once.

I guess Kripp is playing a different version of Bazaar to mine. Out of my first 50 games with Vanessa I was offered Port or Ship only ONCE each! (And way too late to swap, might I add) So much for "you'll probably always be offered one of them by turn 6" 😆🥹
