shuvo rahman 1 good card? There are flametongue and rockbiter, which he already mentioned. Then there are fire ele, power mace and hex or earthshock. Harvest golem also has better synergy with shaman than with mech mage and you can buff the boom bots.

i have absolutely, positively, no problem with kripp doing any kind of self promotion at all. i'm actually astounded how people give a pass to other streamers that actively seek donations and have promotional banners all over the place + run ads, whilst kripp can't even mention what brand his headphones are without being judged? the other day he streamed all day, put up a tournament, and released a lenghty yt video the same day. people who say those things have never worked a day in their life, so they don't understand the concept of hard work.

It's a standard 2 mana 3/2 with the added bonus of windfury for free. One of the most overpowered cards in the game imo, just compare it to thrallmar farseer. (3 mana 2/3 windfury). The reason it is kinda fair is because Shaman as a class really needs a boost overall so i really like the card.

Well the thing is as you say, shaman needed a boost. Every deck that is played well had something unfair. Handlock has 0 mana 8-8s, and hunter can kill you before you even can react. Shaman didn't really have that "unfairness" until this card. It is unfair is you do it well. Just what shaman needed.

It's a class card, that's why it's stronger than neutral puddlestomper 3/2. Constructed, you'd always try to get early removal, else gg. Most 2 drops in constructed are big threats, but Zap-o-matic is biggest for instant 6 face damage as minimum. That's why it's not popular due to being insta-removed in early game / insta-killed if played in late game.

I once dealt 30 damage with a single zap-o-matic(coined out on my first turn) over 5 turns. My opponent had to deal with other stuff first. Crazy to think that if i didn't coin into him, that I wouldn't have dealt a single damage.

Here's how I value Whriling Zap-O-Matic. Windfury is worth the attack value of the creature (same for charge) in "value points". A 2 mana minion is worth 5-6 value points. 1 attack/health = 1 value point. Zap-O-Matic's a 3/2 = 5. Cuz of his attack, the cost of Windfury is 3. 5 + 3 = 8 value points. A 3 mana minion is worth 7-8 value points.

How Good Is Nefarian?

We all knew this was coming with the Arena run yesterday.

As someone who once ran an arena with 5 of the bastards, 2 flame tongues, 1 rockbitter, 2 powermaces , 2 bloodlust and 2 piloted skygolems, I can confirm mech shamans are prone to incredible bursts of mega damage. I went 9-3. All 3 defeats I got completely crushed. All 9 wins I utterly dominated. This kinda of Arena deck cannot win back the board once it's lost and I lacked the silence to break the damn taunts. In one particular game, the most challenging win, I dropped ALL FIVE Whirling zap-o-matics on the turn right after a flamestrike, with only bloodlust left in hand against a mage with 0 cards and all of his 30 hp still intact. Plus some left over armor from Ice Barriers. He top decks Dr. Boom and pings a bot which deals 3 to my face. Then I unleash the 60 damage bloodlust and let him stew in his inner salt for half the turn ^^. That deck could have easily gone for 12 wins, but apparently I had to run into 2 Perfect Hand Priests and a Rogue that actually ran like 3-4 backstabs... 12-0 with a yolo aggro face mechshaman from hell, the dream, soooo close! I'll definitely try again, but maybe not with 5 Zaps, that's kinda overkill. Next time I'll grab some good taunts and silence to support the plays.

Nefarian gives you more instant value when played if opponent has removal you actually get more out of Nefarian (2 cards instead of 1). Nefarian is godly against Priest and Mind Control, because it is easy to remove for both players and thus making it better in Warrior vs Priest. In the case where opponent has no removal Nefarian has more attack to hit opponents face than Ysera. For example by playing Ysera you expect to win in about 3 turns when your opponent has no removal, with Nefarian he has less turns because of his higher attack. I have swapped Alex for Nefarian, because people in higher ranks expect an warrior to run Alex and play around it which again makes Nefarian a much greater threat than the not excising Alex in my deck. So it really depends on the situation which is better! Still not different enough?

Hinata Sama By killing the Flametongue before the Zapomatic, he was able to get a 2-for-1 with his Bloodsail Raider, which in most other cases would be the acceptable "value" play, especially because if you left the Flametongue alive and the Shaman managed to get a taunt up in front of it (esp. something like Annoyotron), well, in some cases the Flametongue could be more of a threat in the end than whatever standalone 2-drop you leave alive (and even if not, the difference is negligible enough that getting the better trade would be the best possible play)...but the fact that the minion they left alive was a 3/2 with windfury makes it pretty much the WORST time to make a play like that. The best case scenario of taking 6 damage to the face from the Zapomatic wouldn't be the end of the world, and that's probably where the Rogue was hoping it would end, but Shaman decks have cheap and easy means of buffing their minions (even in Arena because they're all commons), and if they have any buffs you can bet they'll spend them on their windfury minion while its alive, especially when you were already burst down to 20 health on turn 2 - so hoping to only take 6 damage from the Zapomatic when that's already pretty much max health loss which barely even makes the 2-for-1 worthwhile was a super risky decision - but they did it anyway because they wanted the better trade. I mean, you're right, it was a outright bad play, but as far as I can tell it was a bad play because they were being super greedy at a time they really shouldn't have.
