I hear so many people that listen to their fantasy books say they didn't get very much out of them. Not that there's anything wrong with audiobooks.. I just find that to be a common issue when listening to fantasy books specifically.

Thanks for posting a fun video and introducing me to Margaret's content. I also have felt so embarrassed about not being well read in the classics and frustrated by not liking the popular series. And I'm still often embarrassed that I'm a terribly slow reader, so it's great listening to real people being honest and totally ok with their own pace, preferences, etc. Thanks! Also, Kristen, I LOVE Robin Hobb, and agree with Margaret's comment that if pacing is an issue for you Live Ship might be your jam, but Hobb is still so cruel with her characters. Like, the trauma her characters endure...............😳😬 Proceed with caution.

Another nice interview I enjoyed it alot. it was nice to watch as I created my new character for a DnD game. I like Margaret will DNF a book quick too plus I also like long stories because you get to spend more time with the characters. My favorite books, video games and shows are series where you get spend a lot of time with the characters.
