I only knew Brenda from her early rock and roll hits. This is the first song of the late period that I listened to. With age, her voice has only become stronger, it's indescribable.

@dawnjakeleah Yes, Brenda Lee is very much alive. She is pretty active in charities and has served on various organizational boards in Nashville. Brenda still takes her "Rockin' Round the Christmas Tree" show on the road and does about 20 singing dates a year.

Recently included on the Kris Kristofferson album "Extras" along with two other duets with Miss Lee, "Help Me Make It Through The Night" and "Born To Love Me".

We have them all on the channel. The "Extras" cuts are probably from the studio recordings. I think the live versions are better.

I think the recordings are from the "The Winning Hand" album, not a great fan of Kristofferson as a performer but Brenda Lee certainly brings out the magic in him. Incidently one of my favorite tracks ever is Miss Lee's cover of his song "Why Me". I have watched the duets on your channel and will no doubt do so many times more as they are great quality. Thank you for posting them.
