I always loved Kris Kristofferson. He is so talented. Wrote many great songs and he is pretty good looking too. In his younger days he was such a rebel. Wasted much of his life with alcohol and drugs. But his talent never failed him. Because of his addiction his wife Rita Coleridge left him. I think she was actually the love of his life. Sad that he wouldn't give his running around up for her. Why do men do that to a women they are so much in love with? Much later in his life he finely gave it all up. He is quite sick now. I think he got Nile disease. He has trouble remembering things and words to songs he wrote. I loved it when he sang, Why me Lord. It always makes me cry when I heard him sing it. I have played that song so many times I can't count them on one hand. Its such a beautiful song and I can relate to it. That song makes me cry guilty tears and gives me goosebumps. He won't be around much longer. But he still loves singing and sometimes he still preforms. He is such a great guy and I love his singing.
