No, this is not hellish because of his aged voice. It is damned beautiful. Perhaps those who criticize are those who don't want to think about aging and continuing to have sweet love in your life. We all age, friends; time only moves in one direction. And we continue to carry the same feelings about love in our spirits as long as there is breath in our bodies. Kris is not giving a "bump and grind" young Elvis-type performance. This is a quiet, exquisite song and a heartfelt rendering of it. His song; his right to sing it. "If you don't like it, mister, I don't care."
