Great video and playing. Thanks so much, this has given me loads of ideas for a portable keys solution. Easier than lugging my stage piano around for open mics, ima no out gigs, ad hoc Practise, quick rehearsals in back rooms and green rooms, backup keys for touring . Thanks dude.

A keyboard that is portable enough to be carried all over when traveling besides the Roland Go & Go:Keys. A lot of times the place you put your keyboard is not the best to get a good sound. At least with a separate speaker you can be playing anywhere in the room and still have your speaker in the most ideal spot in the room for the best stereo sound.

Impressive little speakers. Probably best not to push them full blast all the time since piano samples are known to be demanding for speakers. Anyways, you think they keys are the same as both previous versions of this keyboard? Talking about the microkey 61 and the microkey 61 2.
@billfriesTPA7 жыл бұрын
Kris, what kind of latency or delays do you experience with this set-up?
@chrisw14626 жыл бұрын
Please answer the question regarding latency - It would be a miracle if Bose had found a way around the issue, but I have a new iPad Pro (2016 version) and with a bluetooth speaker there is just too much latency to play well. I also have the 37-key version of the microKEY Air. Though I managed to drop it one too many times and killed the bluetooth on it recently, it worked fine for over a year before that, and still works fine with the USB cable.
@chrisw14626 жыл бұрын
Nevermind.. I saw you hook up the cable @3:47 or so. That's the way I usually do it, too.

Quiero comprarme un microkey pero no estoy tan convencido. Llegué a la conclusión de que el que toca bien, tocará bien hasta sobre una tabla.

Yeah.. having problems believing this is bluetooth myself - I've tried his exact setup, though with Garage Band, a Korg plugin, and a couple piano apps (not Ravenscroft), and a decent bluetooth speaker, and the latency was way too much to play well.

Why all people who are recording video with this keyboard are only playing piano ragtime...
@WrvrUgoThrUR5 жыл бұрын
probably because piano players like as close to a 88-key midi board as possible and because ragtime requires more than your typical 49 key board. So to demo it without using all of the octaves would be counterproductive, is my guess.
@bartmuz Жыл бұрын
@@WrvrUgoThrUR 1. my typical keyboard has 61, and two another 88 keys :-) 2. not only rag style require more than 49 3. Ragtimes doesnt show volume posibility of this keys - it is almost always forte
