For a while I got the impression that the build was Athena getting a shot before Kris, but ultimately losing, then Kris gets her shot after and wins; Athena's loss just builds Kris up even more. However, something about Thunder Rosa's reign just isn't feeling right, and she's only as good as her opponent. I have a feeling Kris may get moved up to the World title picture so Rosa has some credible opponents; nobody wants to see DMD stink up the place again any time soon, and Toni Storm can only have one more shot after Thunderstorm comes to an end. So if they do elevate Kris, then yes it'll probably be Athena to dethrone Jade.
