Eustace Hugo to be a better version of oneself, yeah I agree, but let's not forget the fact that to survive in this world, we need material things and money, do not just focus on the abstract, because the last time I check, money is still one of the most important things in life. If you only focus on being a better person without earning income, do you think you can actually survive or raise a family? If you have children, can actually accept the fact that you can't give them the best things in life? For example, schools. (no offense) will you choose public to private. Material things and money give you great choices in life.To be a better human being is surely the best and the hardest thing that people should strive for, but my point is, "balance." It's an ugly truth.

As an american looking at this, I find nothing wrong with her showing off her success...we do it all the time. I find filipino ppl very jealous of each other. I personally DO NOT like the “all white” look. I love color especially autumn colors. The Southwestern look. To those saying she worked hard for this... sorry, but I cannot see where the "hard work" comes from. She's part of the Aquino and Cojuangco family therefore she has a lot of financial backups. On top of that, her brother is ONLY the president of the Philippines. Therefore, she can easily get in to show business and "work hard" for her money. I dare anyone to compare her version of hard work with what rice farmers do on a daily basis. There is no need to showcase her riches especially at times like this. It does not really help motivate anyone affected by the typhoon especially since to get where she is now was a clearly an easy road due to her connections.

The caption should've read much more like: "Kris shows off her junk." and not "Kris shows off new house." Funny how many people who call themselves "successful" just want to show the world how they've accumulated all "that stuff". How they "got it made" or how they're "living the life", etc. What they're really saying is: "Oh, look at me! I'm ahead of you. My life is so great!" IMO, success is not measured by how much money or material stuff you have accumulated. Success is an inside job, you don't have to have it validated by anyone. Also, most of what we bring into our house are just "junk", and more so, 80% of these things we don't really use. Oftentimes, you don't even remember you have them. I know, I've been there - not anymore! I realized that when you live less, but with quality gives you more comfort and PEACE. And not that I don't drink soda pop, it's alright to mess up once in a while with your diet, but I noticed her refrigerator is full of it. I'm sure she eats a lot of junk food, too. Well, this I know. If you eat crap, you feel like crap, you act crappier and you're going to behave like a "crap"! ^~^ ^~^
