Being a Kapampangan, I know how delicious these meals are but it pains me how these maarte celebrities insulting our food & the kindness of the Chef. They are so reluctant to eat. As Kris says, she likes bringhe only if plain wala daw yung kaartehan sa dish (which means walang sahog), what kind of remarks is that? Solenn Heusaff has the same TV format in Taste Buddies but she confessed she's a health/diet conscious eater when at home but in front of the TV lumalamon and she's enjoying the food provided by their sponsor/guests, out of courtesy maybe. Why invite skinny celebrities to eat on a TV segment about food when are these guests are diet conscious? Buti na lang hindi dumudura ang mga Kapapampangan sa mga dishes para sa mga bastos na bisita.

I totally agree with you. I just can't stand these over acting celebrities i think being OA makes them appear more posh. So my advice to kris is to cook the dish herself! She's an insult considering she has kapampangan roots. These kapampangan dishes are meant to be prepared and eaten the traditional way otherwise you are just insulting us.

On garlic or onion first, i say to each his own! No right or wrong which should come first. For me, when you saute onions first, water comes out from it, such that when you put the garlic next, it sautes in onion water and thus the flavor doesnt come out
