Chinese artist Kris Wu has already seen success as part of a k-pop band. Now he went solo, and has decided to jump into the world of hip hop. They were really quick to throw him under the bus as well with the whole Ariana & her manager fiasco, even though HE didn't do anything. But as a Asian (born and raised in the West), I grew to appreciate him and his confidence.

He was actually harder on Jay as an Asian American versus Kris being an Asian rapper. He kind of ran Jay in the ground the way they will sometimes do US artists on the come up. Best of luck to Kris. It does take backbone to tackle this market.

@@MusicLover-rc8db People were really mad at Ebro but a lot of places in the US will do that to new artists. They feel like they have to earn their spot. Jay knows the deal and handled it like he should've and Ebro came around because he saw that Jay was real, not doing it just to make money off the genre. Also Chinaman was a respected rapper and a lot of rappers paid tribute to him when he died recently. I'm still upset Aziatix didn't work out. I really love Flowsiks's tone. I'm also upset Jay's EP didn't get radio play. That's another thing radio stations will pull. Macklemore had a massive hit so I can see why they readily played him but Seattle could at least give their artists a spin and ask listeners to decide if they want more. When I lived in Dallas they would give locals a chance that way.
