#2 with the purple heart. The contrast is outstanding. I am partial, though, and I use purple heart in about 3/4 of all of my projects, even if just a little accent on drawer handles and on at least 1/2 of all cutting boards and coasters. And that base for the #2 bowl was pretty sweet. The trepidation of parting it off is well understood, but goes away with practice. Without a coring system (definitely need one myself), I've used that method dozens of times, and it always works well if done slowly.

Hi 👋, Kris, That was definitely sketchy with that catch, Well saved, it could’ve been a bit painful, I think it was well worth the effort to Try and cor the bowl , especially it, just seems a shame to waste all that time and effort and material, Definitely worth the job, As for which one looks better , I think they both look amazing, they both got their own character, and depending on which way you look at them, time well spent, great looking pieces of art, stay safe, keep up the amazing work. Look forward to seeing your next project., And I forgot to mention, the wildlife looks great as well , I quite often see red squirrels, wild boar,🐗 deer 🦌, and occasional pine, Martin, And the temperature here is around about 15° , I’ve never known it to be so warm here in the winter, did have a few days of frost, but not a lot, Phil from the moulin France

@KrisDeVo10 ай бұрын
Might have to try!
@josiahhalverson7 ай бұрын
I don't know. Not sure you'd want to view only one viewpoint. Seems the ability to view the whole thing as a blur while feeling where your blade hits helps you to know the high spots. Imagine the strobe showing only the low spot. Your blade would hit much sooner than anticipated. Maybe that's ok. Idk. Someone should try it! There's got to be some helpful application for it.
