It looks like there are places on the PCB for 12GB VRAM but only 11 chips are fitted, why? Could the spare position be used to avoid having to repair the damaged pads?

hello sir My Evga rtx 2080ti crashing when it is in full load but if I reduce the gpu frequency to 1.7 ghz with msi afterburner it won't crash all thermal pads are new and the heatsink contact is ok pls if you can help me out thank you

Help Sos! i have a RTX 2080 ti FE. it had artifacts with code 43 witch is a memory problem actually! but after a phew reboots the card would work just fine for phew minutes and crap out again. i saw some youtubers suggesting to blast the card on the core with a heatgun for 10 min. that completly killed the card. - NO Post! - Fans are on 100% - Even the Nvidia logo is inactive! - Is the GPU completly screwed? - did i manange to corupt the bios on the gpu with excesive heat? I inspected the card nothing no burn mark or discolloring or missing component nothing.

Hi Kris, Very nice work !! I have XFX Rx 470 4gb the issue was that it wont detecting and I went to repair shop and they fixed it but I have dual bios card but when he fixed it only one bios working not other one it hangs on post on that bios and mb beeps for not detecting. Could you please tell me what will be the issue? And I have bios programmer but it wont erase chip fully status register error came up any idea how to erase bios fully? ch341a bios programmer. And HDMI port not working on my system but repair shop tested in his system HDMI working on my card why is that?

Hello, i found your video as my gaming pc went black. It seems that issue was not in Asus motherboard and i am now waiting to get it back and i try to connect again my Asus ROG-STRIX-RTX2080TI-A11G-GAMING GPU. If it doesnt work i think i will create repair order to your site. It is shame if card is broken (all lights and fans seems to work but no picture and MBO gave VGA led. Warranty run out from it (36 months) just beginning of this month :( I really liked your video.

Hey Kris, if a pad is ripped, sometimes some pads are pairs and will not effect the memory functionality. But sometimes pads ripped and memory will no longer work. Question: Is there a way to bypass bad memory so that video card would work but with less memory ?
