Pranam sir. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. As far as the app MyGurukul is concerned, is it possible that you monetize your app through advertisements and let the beginner flutists like us take its advantage without feeling the burden of money?

No Ujjwal, that does not work. treat it like class fees. if you want development in this field and expect quality then there are certain economics attached to it. each module gives guidance for a user for 6 months at least. i.e. amount of time taken to learn, mastering the video, sending the videos to us get the feedback and then get a certificate. now that is Rs. 150-400 of fees per month, depends on the module purchased. Much lesser than what you would pay for going to actual class. Plus you get feedback from the best in classical music. Other thing, flute playing base is a small universe, Advertising can never generate enough funds to sustain and make more videos, editing, production, app development etc. i am in hotstar and i have been in advertising field for last 12 years, so i know how things operate. This is a serious effort in helping flute lovers learn the music, we want support so that we can bring the best of knowledge to wider audience across the world. I appreciate what you suggested but after putting lot of efforts we have arrived at what we are doing. hope you will understand our point of view and come forward to support which will also help you in learning from the best. Definitely sir. Being the student of economics I can see the angle you are talking about. And I can actually sense the small universe of Flute since I come from Dehradun and there is not a single teacher who teaches how to play flute. Whatever I have learnt is from my music teacher Bharat Sharma Sir, who is a brilliant musician but not a flautist and You. You are like Guru Dronacharya for us.
