I prefer to make a pre stitched turban!! But yes, you can do a tied one and I think its best if u remember to anchor the 1st one and the last one!

Dear Priyanka, The length you use depends on the height of your deity! Generally, you will need to get the waist to ankle ratio and x3 and that works nicely. the reason this works is because, the first 1/3rd is pleated, the second wraps at his waist and the third passes between his legs and up the back.
