Sir i have a confusion related to Maths. Where is the math used in data science projects ? I had followed your end to end ml projects and can't find that you are using maths, i mean you only import library and run the code to find MSE , linear regression and so on. Yes.I also wonder the same.There are no math concept used in his end to end project video.He just importing libraries to solve the problem.U also can do the same.But u will be better ML solver if u know maths.Cuz the data in his video is from Kaggle platform.CLEANED DATA.but in real world,u must know math concept to understand and solve real world data.Btw,if u wanna watch ML with math concept included video.Maybe u can search ML from scratch video.Thats all.🙂👌

For Data science you need to basic maths and good amount of stats + domain + programing. But for Ml engineer, you need ample amount of maths, here being an Ml engineer you have to focus on developing New algorithm or improving the existing one. Conclusion, To develop new algorithm your need great maths ( For Ml engineer) but to use this algorithm for your own application then you need just basic math to understand algorithm ( for DS). that's it..

But sir in this COVID situation people are specifically asking specific certificate, previous experience for an internship should be from comps or stats background and first 4 myth you are mentioning. I have seen and applied 100s of the open position for fresher(startup specific), where only a handful companies are interested in seeing your project and all others want first 4 of the myth as a must. idk but the 8th "myth" imo is not a myth. i'm confident in stats and ML algorithms. I know them inside out and know when to use them for optimal outputs. but I'm still struggling as a fresher when I supposed to be a junior or a senior because it took me an hour or more to code a simple function like i can't convert my thoughts into code, thoughts are always racing whenever I code.
