when i try to restore image from magisk uninstall button, it says "stock backup does not exists", i guess i have to live without updates... :(

yes, we have the same problem, are you using mediatek chipset? it's been said that those who use MTK have to update it by custom recovery

I have had the same error what that means is that the boot image is missing or not recognized you can fix it get the boot image of the update you are (currently) on and use magisk and patch it.

@@extinebrain6102 it is because we manually flashed the boot image and when we use twrp to root it create a backup of stock image and when we click on restore image it restore the image that's why it is saying stock backup not found

without ab it is heavier usually y update android kernen from ubuntu chrot wich allows that so you can have a better kernel

Thanks for this awesome tutorial. I have a query. I downloaded the update first. Didnt install. I didn't uninstall estore images from magisk prior to downloading update. Now can i uninstall estore image in magisk and then re install magisk and reboot from magisk. Will it work. (Ive backed up my data). Samsung M51.

I have installed Open-WRT and DD-WRT on a few devices. I've not heard of Fresh_Tomato before. The pros using them over the software that comes on more routers is that you get a complete Linux System with root access. So you can tweak the system to your liking. comparing Open-WRT and DD-WRT. I have very little experience with them, but at first glace, in my opinion, Open-WRT has a better License (GPL) While DD-WRT has better hardware support.

@@DigitalMetalwell Fresh_Tomato is user-friendly I guess kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3XFYYqdopqmoZI I am planning on using DD-WRT but Open-WRT is on my radar My wifi is "D-Link DIR 615 wireless N300" Simply, because Netgear isn't even available in my country😂 Or at least in my local stores & I simply don't like Amazon & their big-tech shenanigans😂
