The paradise of nature is all you can tell about this country. Also they're local dishes are very good, the city and public transport are clean, and when you decide to go to Bali even if its still in the same country you'll feel like those places are separated on different side of the world. Absolutely loved it!

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is also a must, it's huge cultural park where you see all Indonesian culture houses and palaces in one place. The children palace was my favourite weekend visit in 1980s till early 1990s (I am 41). Btw, the world map is wrong since Mercator 1569. Indonesia should be bigger.

I absolutely loved this video. There is something about Kriss' calm demeanor and her soothing voice that just relaxes me so much. I also enjoyed her trip to England, as well. As an American, I want to congratulate Kriss on her visa and welcome her to the USA. I'm sure Kriss will learn about the plusses and minuses of living in LA (great music scene but high cost of living, high taxes and issues with the recent fires). I'm sure Chris will also learn that Nashville, TN, is such a vibrant musical center at this point, far beyond country music. Many of the older big-name rockers have homes in Nashville. I don't know what the music's scene in Florida is, which would mainly be in Miami. I remember Kriss told us that when she got to Serbia from Georgia, that there was one move left. So, I remember wondering if Kriss would rather stay in Europe (stay closer to her family) or would she actually like to come to the USA? I'm glad she chose the USA. I'm guessing that Kriss is already in country by now and so I wish her much success, safety and happiness.

If I may ask, why did she specifically come to Indonesia to do a visa interview at the US Embassy in Indonesia? doesn't the US have an embassy in Serbia? is there any special reason to get a US visa in another country, which is Indonesia in this context

@@lilawaldi Good question. I would just be guessing but for whatever reason, one can apply for visas through different embassies. Kriss is a smart person so I'm sure she looked into how it all works and decided her best chance at a visa was through the US Embassy in Indonesia. For whatever reason, it worked for her.

Maybe next time you're in Indonesia, try some Indonesian food. Rawon is a great beef soup/stew, pecel is a great vegetarian dish (mixed veggies, tempe, rice and spicy peanut sauce), bebek or ayam goreng (fried duck or chicken with rice and spicy sambal sauce), the classic nasi or mie goreng (fried rice or noodles), or ayam geprek (chicken smashed with spicy sauce). Indonesian food is among the most underrated in Asia and definitely worth a try!

I left Southern California 7 years ago to the country in Tennessee. California is a terrible place to live for many, many reasons. Tennessee is a much better option, it is safer, more affordable. L.A. and Nashville are both great cities for musicians, so you need to way the pros and cons of each. LA might be a better career option, but its also terrible place to raise a family. Nashville has a better lifestyle for families and plenty of options for musicians. Either way, I hope you find the American Dream! You have the talent to make it, and we need good people like you.
