Love your reorganized shelves! The Anne shelf especially turned out beautifully! Such nostalgia for me with the Gilmore Girl DVD’s. I watched those many times over the years and often had them on in the background in my early to mid 20’s.

I knew I liked you and was so glad to have found your channel, but when you said “Persuasion” is your favorite Austin novel, I cried, as Anne would say, “Kindred spirit”! Holy! That is a lot of Jane Austen retellings. I love watching a good unhaul. I love the Charles Swindoll series. I have the same Anne set you first showed.

Right?! I collected them for a long time, but most just sat unread for too long. I am determined to read those Swindoll books. I originally got them for my mom because she loved them. When she was downsizing her books I snatched them up!

Really enjoyed the Syrie James books and A Walk with Jane Austen was one of books that originally turned me into a Jane Austen fan.

Krista. Of course I love the Anne of Green Gables shelves. So happy you moved them up and gave them their space. I chose the same set you have to read back in April for the first time in my life. Have you talked to Katie about how I can get a signed copy from Katie of her annotated Anne book? I know it’s a lot but I was so hoping you would open like 3 of the beautiful big Anne/ L. M. Montgomery books to show us more of the books which I want to get for myself.😊

The Lake House. The Secret Keeper. The Distant Hours. The Forgotten Garden. House at Riverton. I think I am missing 1 or 2 also.

This was SO FUN to watch!!! Loved it! I have many of the bks. you have by L.M. Montgomery and some of same related to Anne. When my girls were growing up I bought them every single bk. L.M.Montgomery ever published. Some for myself like her poetry bks. and other adult ones to do w/ her. Somehow lost most.😑😑 Wrote down a few you are keeping. The Painted Editions are so beautiful of every book. Thanks!🤗

I enjoy the shelf clean up videos! It was a live video a few years ago that you did, where the Swindoll books caught my attention. I bought them all and have only one left to read. Paul (#6) was the first book I read. HUZZAH! You are the only other person I've heard on booktube say they don't like LotR series. I only read one and I felt it was so childish. I was having a conversation with another creating and her husband and another guy bashed me in her feed for not liking it. Whoa! It was crazy. This was a couple of years ago and I no longer go to that dark corner of booktube. LOL The round ceramic pen holder on the desk looks a little precarious. Your new organization looks great! thank you for the inspiration to go clean and reorganize my own bookcases.

I remember that you were reading the Swindoll books too. I am glad to know it's Paul that I need. I will have to track that one down...and then start actually reading them! haha. I'm suprised I didn't get any push back so far on my comment about not liking LOTR. Sorry you had to deal with that!

I used to keep every John Grisham hardback. And maybe Danielle Steel. Now I only keep my absolute favorites or some hard to get ones. But if I belonged to BOTM I’d be SO tempted to keep them!

By the Book. Should I read it? I flip-flop between Persuasion and Mansfield as my favorites. :) My favorite Persuasion retellings are by Laura Hile (which might be free to listen to on KZbin). Definitely Not Mr. Darcy sounds cute. Hmmm... I didn't like Kilmeny--I actually disliked it. It's a rare day I don't like Montgomery, but that was definitely one. Every time I see that orange plaid book sleeve I smile. It's what I made my daughter's boyfriend's Christmas stocking out of (he LOVES orange, so...) You are inspiring me to do the video I've been putting off all week (okay, most of it was smoke but then it was lazy. I don't feel so lazy now so... Maybe I'll go do it!)

I honestly don't remember much about By the Book. I don't think I loved it, but thought it was just ok...maybe. haha. I should definitely do a reread of that one. I'll have to look up Laura Hile. I still love a good retelling. Smoke is no joke. Take care!
