Kris is undeniably touchy-feely with all the members to an extent (the question would be who isn't), but his possessive aura with Tao can be seen a mile away. You don't have to be an EXO stan to recognize that, lol. It's less obvious these days, since EXO's promoting as a whole, but I'm pretty sure they haven't become less close. What's aired on national TV doesn't necessarily tell the whole story, after all.

Kris regards Tao as a little brother and vice versa. Tao said that from the beginning Kris looked after him when he first got to S Korea. It was hard for Tao and the fact that Kris was always there for him makes it a special relationship. They are true brothers for life.

Idk, I understand why Kris felt hurt because of Tao's words, but everyone always knew that Tao was the most emotive and bitter of the 12, I mean all Exo members including Kris himself have said that, and given how Tao found out about Kris departure, through media not by Kris, it's really understandable why he got so pissed at him and wrote those things. If me, as I fan, knows this, I bet Kris who lived with Tao way more than me and anyone else besides his parents and the other Exo members, probably knew this too. Kris isn't that cold to the point of not forgiving, especially someone he was close to. He only looks like that because of his face and his quiet personality, but the fact is that he's really a warm-hearted guy, if you follow him you'll see that too.

I hope that soon once the lawsuit between sm and tao dies down that kris and tao can makeup.... it makes me so sad that they haven't really made up since tao said those things about kris leaving. but I mean, as maknae, he didn't really get the full blow of how terrible sm was... IF they are/were a romantic couple, I'd suspect they were versatile, as many same-sex couples are, but Tao is likely the receiving partner more often than not. Tao is decidedly more effeminate, he's more submissive and innocent in his demeanor and doesn't take inititative; he needs to be led. Tao is certainly more athletic than Kris, but physicality plays a minor role when it comes to top vs. bottom.
