For those outside of California, the hiking trails wrap around hillsides which if they catch on fire are danger zones. Dry brush covers most of the hillsides & on flat ground fire can travel 14mph or faster due to winds, overtaking hikers quickly. Thanks for the great Kevin interview!

She is so engaging and funny. I first saw her in Veronica Mars. It's not age appropriate as I was in my mid 50s at the time, but I was recovering from major surgery and undergoing chemo, so had a lot of time at home on my own. That show was one of the most interesting. It was well written, had an engaging cast and intriguing plot lines. And Kristen mad her character so real. A nice episode, thanks Kevin.

Fun Hollywood story about songs. One of the choreographers of The Wizard Of Oz, Donna Massin (my pals Mom) was also the demo vocalist for a little song called Somewhere Over The Rainbow. When all was done the producers really tried to cut that song complaining that the whole rest of the score was lite operetta while the rainbow song was just pop and it didn't fit. Well, Donna fought like hell to keep that song in and eventually they caved and because of her we all will forever have this gem of a song. BTW, Donna also created that little skip and jump move they all did on the yellow brick road.
