This is one of my favorite little films. It reminds me of my Moo(daughter's nick name who's 23 haha. Whom looks so much like Dakota). She wanted a guitar so badly for her 13th bday. Ya know kids go through trends so I'm trying to find a used guitar and amp. Luckily I was taking my mom to her breast cancer appointment 2 hours away, and I'm looking out the window and I spun around and did a U-turn cuz there set an awesome used Ibanez guitar with an amp. I go look at it, this old man said his son moved away and wanted to sell his guitars. He gave me a kick ass deal for both at $105 for guitar, amp, the nice cords... I had the happiest baby girl in the world and you bet your ass I would've paid a hellva lot more than if that generous man asked for it. All to see her light up and smile cuz that is priceless!!!! I always took her to concerts cuz I would've loved for my mom to do that with me as a teen. I've always preached "remember, you were a kid once too" Btw my mom did survive, she is a 3 time cancer warrior survivor!!!!

You know what, i have seen this when it was released back in the day and today, i basicly having the same dilemma as kristen did in this movie. I'm asking my dad to contribute some cash for me to own a vintage 1983 mercedes w123. I'm in a phase of arguing with my dad and suddenly i remember this film and come to revisit. It's like a dejavu. Wish me luck, hope my dad will agree and i can bargain a way way lot better than kristen did. hahahaha.. thanks to kate hudson for this great lil film.
