As you share the surrogate option...be cognizant of how EXTREMELY elite and out of reach this option is for 99.9% of couples dealing with infertility. Personally, I would start with a statement reflecting this privilege AND start a grant/foundation so others can explore this option. Otherwise, you come across as tone deaf to all the other families struggling with the barely even having money for medical options with infertility, much less even consider surrogacy....
