The Steel Work here reminds me of my Dad's ability on the Instrument, grew up with Pedal Steel in the house. Tried to learn it @ 18 yrs old, but had been 'Deep Fried' in Van Halen and 70s & 80s Rock by that time. Wish I'd had half the patience then that I'm still learning to have now! Dad was right to a certain degree, it's a more 'expressive' instrument than 6 string electric/ accoustic guitar, fo' shore! And I must add that the young lady's voice is beautiful! The voice is the 'most' expressive of all 'stringed' instruments, the one that only God can 'Create'! And the songwriting is the 'kind' of 'Catch-Phrase' writing that marks 'True' Songwriting, and the mark of "1970s'-Golden Age Country Music! The band is 'tight', and all those elements 'together, in harmony' make the song 'happen'!

Follow what you know God Gave you and He put in your heart, and y'all keep writing and arranging, 'cause my Dad, who played Pedal Steel for Johnny Paycheck, Moe Bandy, Barbara Mandrell, and backed Country Stars like Mel Tillis & Gene Watson when Gene did a show here in Kansas City in the early 80s, he would've really liked what y'all have done!
