Anyone who truly loves books would agree. I don't have a problem with a few books turned backwards, sideways or even open. It gives your library a welcoming friendly look but as a style device. Nope.

I am a book reader, so would never turn my books around..but a project I want to do is to make calmer covers for them which I can label.

Glass bottles for shampoo and conditioner would get my hands slippery then they would slide out of my grasp and shatter on the floor. But the brown colour is pleasant.

I have loved every idea you have come up with other than putting books backward so they blend in with the decor. I would think someone was illiterate if I walked in and saw a bookshelf like that. Not really into painting the covers either.

The tip on using rug tape is excellent. I have a cat that loves to surf on rugs when he's zooming around while playing. I straighten out my mats 100s of time a day. He's cute but can get annoying. I'll definitely look into using rug tape.

Love your clothes and boots you purchased on Thread Up Online Thrift Store. You look fantabulous in everything! And of course your overall video is excellent once again. Another interesting way to incorporate decor into your home which can stay all yr. round, is by adding a big rock - one the size you can carry. I found mine at the lake - one each in a black, grey, and another nice beige one. Each of these in different shapes I have placed around the home on the floor and one up on console. I always get complements on them.

Great ideas. I love them all. I used to use silk plants for each season all through my home. How do you decorate and still be somewhat minimal without storing all the seasonal items for four times a year? I don't have near enough room for my necessary items let alone storing decorator items. Kristen, I just bought a new mattress, mattress, cover, pillows. I don't get the duvet cover and comforter thing! Sorry, it seems like such a task. I am sure you covered it . I have a Technician that lights up all of my palm trees and my patio that faces the lake and does all my internal lighting and makes my house a dream.
