I bought the book from MTV to Mecca. Anyone who is in a word living the dream by the worlds standard and is on a path like she has, has got my attention because it is genuine, the real deal.. I can understand her path towards Islamic sufism, the desire to really connect with the creator.

Amazing , unbelievable , totally unexpected situation-----that a beautiful ,successful western woman should convert to Islam. And also praising Mohammad , who practiced polygamy-----the very concept of polygamy seems to be so obnoxious and unacceptable to western mind/culture. I can understand that simple /straightforward spiritual practice of awareness /contact with ONE SPREME BEING in Islam may be satisfying to any one----but praising Hajj/Mohammad /Fasting by a western woman is totally unbelievable. I wish I should have some way of contacting /communicating with Kristane Backer that how come she can praise something /someone which is not acceptable by common-sense modern standards.

Assalaamu Aleiykum Sister Kristiane Backer, I have watched many of your videos where you have maintained modestly while presenting yourself (on videos) after your conversion to Islam. Being a male, I am little bit confused and think dress in this video is little bit out of modesty.
