On the ACL discussion, Emma Hayes on with Julie Foudy had a lot of great inside. There is a lot of research and more is required because as she put it “women are not little men”. They have been very successful at Chelsea avoiding ACL injuries that last 6 yrs

In regards to ACL injuries ... women are more prone because a woman's pelvis are wider than men's. Since a woman's pelvis is wider it changes the mechanics of how the thigh bone, tibia and femur function. Because of the wider angle from hips to knee it creates more stress on soft tissues and joints and without even noticing it can lead to over use of muscles or suddenly injury

And women’s ligaments loosen at certain times in their menstrual cycle putting them at higher risk for ACL and similar injuries.

Tell them to chose the best to go to the World Cup. Side referees need to do better the official referee cannot see everything, but side referees can see better and many times closer to the play, and they have also a microphone that is listen by the official referee, and they have the flags.

Women are much more susceptible to knee injuries. Where you are in your period cycle can play a part. Thigh bone angle to knee is greater than in men, which means a greater load on knee joint. Also bones and joints are thinner. Women’s football is modelled off the men’s game. We need to seriously consider if some things need to change for women. Shorter games, more changes during games, mandatory rest (set a limit for allowed minutes per player in a given time period), a proper off season. Might need to look at reschedule the whole game structure (particularly in Europe). Also keep working on all things like rest and recovery, the right strength training to prevent injury. The way women’s football evolved so dramatically in the last 10 years and transitioned from amateur to professional, with greater loads and better players, might be a factor as well.

Ladies great podcast am a guy and love everything about soccer. One thing I think is the women's club leagues are still growing compared to the men's leagues across the world like MLS or EPL where you have 20+ teams therefore playing more games a week and not even including FA cup or Carrling cup or UEFA and so on some teams play 3-4 games a week. Why am I saying this is the women's teams need depth larger teams so as to not overplay you definite starters on everything.

The reason why there are so many injured, a great percentage is the REFEREES, let the players cause a lot of fouls. As a former Referee I was tougher. I’ll say next time you get a yellow or red card. If it was intentional I’ll show the yellow card and the game will calm down and everybody will start playing cleaner. Remember? World Cup 2019? All those team that play against the USWNT lost. (France, Spain, England and Netherlands) I’m a former Assistant coach and a former referee. So, In your future programs please invite the best referee you think is the best, and ask a lot of questions and regulations and what part of your bodies can you use to push your opponent. Since I was a teenager and playing we will only used our shoulders, that’s. NOT hands, NOT hips, NOT elbows, NOT knees, NOT fists, NOT kicks, NOT to trip, NOT pull the hair of your opponent. And as USWNT JUST play CLEAN, and the last thing if you see somebody to FOUL you try to jump out of it before the opponent, some South American games.

They are honest with themselves. Lynn has an interior peace that probably was taught by her father or mother, Lynn looks very close to Kristen Press attitude. Remember you are being watch by millions of girls of all ages. Be the best you can be. Run every day, during a play or running to catch somebody that has the ball and passing you just get in front without causing a foul. Use your speed.
