@@kathyneavin9347 they have good acting skills but the writers are leaving a lot to be desired of them as a couple. I’m a shipper but it’s felt very platonic for a while. They’re great friends but feeling them as a couple has been off

I've been getting frustrated with their storyline for a while. The dialogue has been well written and they have a solid relationship, but they barely even touch anymore. And I guess now that I had to watch the Perez Hilton and Natalia Ramirez redemption arc begin in one and the same episode, I guess I know why that is. Hearing Kristina, a queer woman, call Natalia a victim after everything she said was disgusting and so offensive. I feel sick! I thought the show was trying to straddle the line of how queer people have to juggle bigots and cancel culture, which I could get behind because it's true. But now they got cancelled for staying closeted, but everything is just FINE when they call a bigoted bully a victim? Man, after watching THIS, I am truly at a loss for words. That was just abysmal and harmful writing. If Kristina was trying not to trash Natalia on national TV, there would have been a million other ways to do it. Natalia has never been nice or respectful toward her, just passive-aggressive and mean. The only way for them to salvage this is by having Kris rip into Natalia once again in private and even then I'm not sure... If they are trying to get rid of Ava, there would have been a million other ways to do it without redeeming and excusing a homophobe by having the two queer characters of the show coddle her. God, I think I'm done ranting now... boy am I angry.

@@Unbreakable86_ I agree with all that you said. I get soaps go over the top. However they also have a platform to do good. There was the struggle Ali had with her mom and now somehow mom is forgiven without even doing any work to show she is changing. She tried to get Kristina to break up with Ali at the studio. When Kristina came over she was entertaining her only because of sonny not because she’s her daughter’s girlfriend. She hasn’t reached out to her daughter. Then add in Perez Hilton and his past and it’s like are you trying to make those that felt the same struggles as Ali just hate your show? I don’t get it. The homophobe is the victim? That’s like saying the person who robbed my house is the victim because I had a video of him breaking in. Ludicrous

@@Kraze4you143 It's what I said on Twitter when they announced him... there is cheap drama with harmful writing and there is good drama with healthy writing. They could have told this story in the most epic way... yet, they failed in the worst and most offensive and hurtful way possible. Because not only is the LGBTQ+ community watching. The bigots are too. And Kristina's "She's entitled to her views." now enables them to spout their garbage, no matter how many times she said that these views are hurtful. As a queer woman, that makes me feel sick on so many levels. That show slapped me and my community across the face yesterday. And it will take time to come back from that, if they ever will. I'm not sure I am, no matter how much I love Kraze.

@Unbreakable86_ I felt for the LGBTQ+ community yesterday. When they told willows cancer story I knew it would be for a plot point and not really delve into cancer same with Britt’s huntingtons. As a cancer survivor I didn’t put much investment into how willows story would turn out because it was going to be a miracle. With this story so many people related to what Ali has been going through. Yesterday felt like a slap in the face to anyone who has had to experience the bigotry and homophobia from their own family member and then to make Natalia the victim? Yeah she doesn’t have her gravy train that’s what she loses. I’ll give it a few more episodes to see how it plays out. But if they go the redemption route of Natalia without her being remorseful and changing I won’t be clipping their story anymore. It could be a powerful story but they’re being lazy and sensationalizing things. Perez Hilton hurting so many people for years is not something I stand for. Words hurt they’re powerful and you can’t take them back. Having him play himself is another slap to the LGBQT+ community. I can’t be an ally for others by supporting this story if this is the way it continues. Yes it’s a soap but they know they have the ability to tell a great story and help others or to cheapen the story. For what, views? This isn’t helping.

If you think about it Kristina is right Natalia is a victim. Her conversation was recorded without her knowledge. She is entitled to have her beliefs and views. We all have to respect everyone’s differences and point of view. Not all couples touch and kiss constantly. Everyone is different. Kristina already ripped into Natalia.

I'm trying with this. I couldn't listen to Perez talk so I had the captions on.He obviously got to promote his website, free promotion. Good for him I guess. *BigSIGH* I'm gonna say this now and I don't care what anyone says. Soaps are dead, and have been dead. As wild and crazy Soaps were back in the day, I've seen a shift in the quality of storytelling. Lets be honest here. The few soaps that are left air 5 days a week and Ads are placed during the airing. That's what matters to the networks that air them. And less time is put into the creative aspect of a soap. The only hope, is that the new Soap that will air next year #TheGates reinvigorates the medium and lights a fire under the writing/directing team of the soaps on air now. Competition breeds innovation. And that's my hope.

I’m with you. They won best writing and I don’t know if that makes them think let’s do more of the same. Part of it is how they shoot in blocks and not in order which makes things disjointed. Today is high on my list of not a favored storyline. Ali’s career is in shambles she’s the victim not her mom. Natalia has never changed her stance on her beliefs, she just got caught saying what’s in her heart. I’m not a fan of Perez either with his background of hurting so many people for his own clout. My cousin committed suicide at 15 due to words from others. Words are powerufl and for a long time he used them to destroy peoples lives. Giving him a platform again especially when he has outted people that weren’t ready to come out makes no sense to me and frustrates me because he played himself and not an interviewer that was made up.

Am I to understand that the LGBT community is upset at Kristina for publicly not coming out, but they will be pleased with Kristina for saying that Natalia is a real victim? The interview is a PR disaster and the community would throw a fit at either girls sugarcoating the remarks that Natalia made. Also, since when has Natalia been respectful to Kristina? She is only been faking it in Sonny's presence.

She hasn’t changed her view on her daughter. Could Ali and Kristina have sat any farther away? At least hold a finger not even the whole hand. I feel for those that have gone through this because I feel like this was a slap in the face to so many.

@@Kraze4you143 It's an odd choice of words considering that not too long ago Kristina told Natalia that no one needs the kind of love she offers. I get trying to be respectful but the things that Kristina said were a bit of a stretch. I don't per say have an issue with them sitting the way they were or for not holding hands, because it is a public interview so they have to look professional, but the show just doesn't show much intimacy between them at all. Instead of two episodes dedicated towards preparing for the interview, could we not have gotten an episode of Kristina taking Blaze and romancing to distract her from everything.

I hope as they both continue being on the show, n I hope in the future soon that they'll get more comfortable with each other n find that chemistry connection. But as of right now,they don't seem to have that chemistry, like any other shows of lesbian couples I've seen. Like on today's episode, with that interviewed. They should sit close to each other n held hands. N even I watched their kisses, they r not really into kissing that look kinda realistic. I know they r not supposed to be french kissing, but with lips to lips, kissing can be acting like real kisses to make it believable. Coz I've been watching Tessa n Mariah over on Y&R,n their love scenes look realistic, n they act like they r a real couple. So,with that said, I think those two actresses need to find a connection so their fans can enjoy more of watching them😊

@@JulieSawanh They do have chemistry. If you watch their earlier storyline (September to February), there is an abundance of it. Which makes this even weirder... if it's the direction or the writing or both... but yeah, it's frustrating.

@Unbreakable86_ their first and second kiss and then into their love scene showed affection and chemistry. Then after it’s felt very flat with the romantic side of their relationship. Their words are great, how they support each other but it seems like two different couples. Their last real kiss, which wasn’t even that real was at the bachelorette party. Every time they sit together there’s at least one pillow space in between them. It’s odd. I feel like there was a lot of lost moments in this story by not having Ali deal with her emotions. It was the same when blq had to give back Bailey. I wanted to see her work through the sadness but it was glossed over.

'Natalia has come to treat me with decency and respect' ? WTBH?! I'd be surprised if she could spell those words, let alone understand the courtesies behind them! I get that they're on television and they would like to retain their dignity and self respect. But Natalia could use a nice cold wet wake up call that this is 20 20 GD 4 (I'm sure y'all know what GD stand for). But I also gotta give #Kraze 👍👍 for their composure throughout all this. We just need 2 more miracles: #LBRecords and #DontGiveUpNeverSurrender ✊

@@kathyneavin9347 if Natalia tried to reach out to Ali after the recording or showed some sign of remorse for what she said and the impact Ali felt when Kristina came over then maybe, ever so slightly could I see a redemption arc being started. She hasn’t done any of that and she’s somehow the victim in all of this. No ali is. She needs more of her point of view being shown. GH has the ability to be an ally for the ones that need it but today felt like a slap in the face and that was truly disappointing.
