Yousef: My team is awesome. This is my favorite phase. I get to play my part, They get to do their stuff, and together… Marthe and Kristina were magical from the beginning. The better they get to know each other, and the more secure they get, it will into a symbiosis that will be magical. Kristina to Marthe when watching Martha’s blind audition: I immediately got goosebumps. Actually. She is extremely good. I feel a lot of pressure. I need to try and think of it as an experience. Marthe about Kristina’s blind audition: Kristina has a nice nerve in her voice. She has a vulnerability, but also such control. She’s very young. It was simply amazing to listen to, really. Kristina: To work with Yousef means a lot. I’m a big fan. Yousef: You are going to sing a song called “I love you” by Billie Eilish. I’m convinced that the two of you are the right candidates for this song. Marthe: The challenging thing about Billie Eilish is the conveying. To hit a nerve with the audience. But the song is nice. One has to find a nerve in oneself, and convey it further. Kristina when singing: So difficult! Yousef: Priority number one is to make it as good as you can. We are going to feel safe. Don’t be scared. Kristina: I easily enerve myself, because I have many criteria for myself. I’m happy Yousef responds the way he does, because it can calm me. I just hope I know the song before I am going to perorm it in the duel. Marthe: the goal is victory in the end. To be honest. Kristina: Inside it feels like I’m screaming. It feels terrible, but I would like to continue. Ina at the end of the song: What the actual…. What happened? Yousef: Kristina, you have a thing… When you open up, then… you grant people access into the deepest, innermost… It is so soar and very tough. Ina: you are at the same time solid. Yousef: completely insane. Marthe, you are crystal clear, and I love the role you have taken in this duel, because it is kind of big sister ish. You is someone safe to lean on, but you are also crystal clear in how you manage to create the symbiosis with how Kristina has started to open herself. Ina: sometimes music can make me forget to breathe. I can feel the feeling that reminds me of why I love to do what I do. Which starts here. Points to the chest. And it paralyzes me. Kristina, when you started singing today, I got that feeling. And I get it rarer and rarer. Marthe, you enter, the symbiosis you have together is the most beautiful thing I have heard so far this year. Espen: I agree with Ina. It was as naked and close as it is supposed to be. Both of you have to courage to enter the deepest waters and sing with the tiniest voice you have, so when you are adding force towards the end of the verses, it becomes so powerful. Super nice, both of you. Yousef: I must continue with Kristina. Espen stole Marthe. Marthe: you have no idea how happy I am. Northerners unite! Espen: That’s right. That’s how we do it in the north of Norway. Ina: It makes me so happy when I see happy people. I get… Jarle: I was moved when I saw Espen’s hand lifted. Yes, but she never got the chance. Poor song choice for a unique voice. Power ballad singers always destroy every voice series, they are revered but are really just great karaoke singers with little nuance. None write their own material and disappear afterwards. Whereas unusual voices have a chance and that's what Kristina has.
