Was It Worth The 4 Hour Drive? [Trying Whataburger For The 1st Time]

In this video, we're trying Whataburger for the first time! After driving 4 hours to get there, we can finally say that was it worth it!
As you'll see in the video, Whataburger definitely lives up to the hype. The taste test was SO much fun, and we're so glad we tried it out! If you're ever in the area, we highly recommend you give Whataburger a try!

Whataburger originated here in Corpus Christ TX....needless to say I am a Whataburger addict. The first Whatburger was in front of Del Mar college here in Corpus in 1950. That was the perfect place to get the young crowd into the burgers and shakes. Glad you liked the food and great review! God Bless you and may God Bless Texas!

I've eaten Whataburger since I was a kid in the 70s visiting Texas. Now we have them here in Kansas City. ❤ They're awesome.

Texas toast first created in 1946 at the Pig Stand in Denton, Texas, after a bakery order for thicker slices of bread resulted in slices too thick for the toaster and a cook, Wiley W. W. Cross, suggested buttering and grilling them as a solution. ❤

My 2 cents…I like when you guys take bites at the same time when rating, it just seems like a more authentic bite when y’all both taste things at the same time. And, since Jamil doesn’t like tomatoes he can just remove from his half and we can still get the full bite from your half. Just a suggestion. I’m still salivating regardless…😂😂

Yay, you're trying Whataburger. This is my all time favorite burger place ever. I love the Whataburger just the way it is. With extra onions OMG it's so delicious. And the onion rings and fries are delicious. I'm so excited y'all got to try it out. This is my favorite favorite burger place in Texas. My go to meal is a Whataburger with extra onions & bacon Large fries and a large coke and both ketchups❤

Whataburger originated in my home state of Texas, but other states in the Southwest and South Plains regions quickly recognized just how great the food at this place is and wisely brought it into their areas as well. Literally every single bite of each food item you try here has such incredible flavor and taste, so it's pretty much mandatory to savor each bite you take. And for me, personally, the Sweet n' Spicy Bacon Burger has become my go-to order whenever I decide to eat at Whataburger.

When I worked at Whataburger, I would make a shake out of any drink we served. Just order when we aren’t swamped, because soda shakes have to be done carefully so as not to be too runny. I even made Powerade shakes, which was hilarious.

I always ask for mayo instead of mustard. Love Whataburger. You can get a burger on the Texas toast. They will let you choose.

I'm a South Texas guy, Whataburger is king here. You guys should have tried the Grilled chicken sandwich, it's my favorite of the chicken burgers. But my go to order is a double meat double cheese with no onions extra pickles and add mayo and mustard. Mouth watering while I type it. 😋

I’m in TX. I only go to WAB for one thing - their chx strips with cream gravy. They are my fav. I grew up eating burgers with mustard. Mustard and pickles! I did buy the WAB jalapeño ranch sauce at store…way too spicy for me. But, others like it!

They are putting a WB in Las Vegas, just announced few weeks ago, so anyone wanting to try it that is visiting Vegas now can. As a Native Texan, that still lives here, Whataburger is pretty good, but is not the "best" Fast Food burger I have ever had. YVMV.

I love the guacamole bacon burger and here they have chili now. That you can put on fries or a burger so I need to visit there soon. In Texas we do the chicken strips with white gravy. I'm sure others do too but some places I go out of state don't give the gravy. Whataburger is my favorite 😍 so this video makes me happy

And Yall dont have to say it, Whataburger is way better than In and Out! Go in at 3am, order a double meat, with pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, grilled peppers, grilled jalapeños, bacon, guacamole, on Texas toast with patty melt sauce!! Their breakfast items are good too!
