I like having my screen next to my chair, easy to mark way points. Also, I like being able to lay my net on the bow of my Hobie. It’s personal preference. Good videos you put out 👏🏻

I almost got a 12 last winter during the sale. I chose the 10 because for screen size to pixel density the 10 should have a cleaner image. Messing with them in stores I don't think I can see that difference though. I will go to a 12 next. I would love to get a gps map 8612xsv but it's a little out of my price range, especially for how much I use mine now!! I've had to ultra 106sv, lvs34 system & steady cast sense last January. I've been very happy with it. I don't use electronics alot. I'll make waypoints then I end up turning the transducers off & just fishing the waypoints most of the time. When I do use LS I use perspective mode 80% of the time over forward. Use it like a 360. I do see fish here & there but mostly used for casting to cover, grass lines, ext... Funny thing is all of my big bass have been caught while my transducers were off. My 5 biggest largmouth so far this year 7.4 - 8.05 - 8.6 - 9.3 - 11.4 mostly big swimbaits & big worms.

Man, that ROCKS...! Having all that screen, and the ability to customize it for yourself, is Amazing. (One thing about it, though... Can you bring along a Bluetooth Player, a couple of GOOD Fishing Movies, and a pair of Bose Speakers to plug into the Garmin - for when the fish have "Lock-Jaw"...?) Haha! Jus' Kiddin'...

1 large screen vs 2 9's etc has the advantage of simplicity and you can split the display into the two screens that are important. Multiple displays lead to problems( compatibility., interference etc,)

I think the 16" screen is a good idea if you think about it. Running multi screens on that would not mean as much of a screen lose as it would on a 12" or 9". I think if it was me though I would have to turn the bracket upside down to get it just a little lower

Damn a 16" on a yak, is crazy! I use that exact same split screen on my set up, so I know my distance & direction to waypoints. I also keep my heading line same distance as the lvs34 distance so they match up perfectly. That helps a lot too! I have 1 10" ultra 106sv. Next graph I get would probably b a 12. I don't think I would go higher in size for myself. But that a crazy cool set up!

Looks pretty amazing! Slightly intimidating too, if I’m being honest! But without being spoilery, seems like it did ok for you. Regarding the 16” screen…actually it’s smaller than two 12s or even two 9s so I don’t know why people would get sideways over it. I kinda love the concept of just one. I wonder if you can do the split screen the same way on a 12” display?

BTW I have mine attached to my Outback with a Yak Attack vertical tie down mounted to my gear tracks, connected to a cut 3’ NRS Strap at each corner. It’s ROCK solid.

Jamie rigged my hobie. I went with the 12 inch for a single graph and it’s not big enough to run spilt screen for ffs and mapping wish I would have went with a 16. I love only having one graph though

A screen like taht is awesome, but there's no option to mount it on the side within reach as it will probably make the yak list due to weight. Not sure it that will get in the way of side casting etc, buts theres really no other choice but to have it mounted front and centre
