Beautiful reaction, did you know Elvis appeared in 31 movies from 1960 to 1968. If you get a chance check out Crawfish from the movie king Creole. I promise you will love it, also check out jailhouse rock, loving you And love me tender the first movie Elvis appeared in. Again beautiful reaction and I loved your reaction to love me tender live from his 1970 performance. Also if you want to see Elvis most epic performance watch American trilogy from his aloha from Hawaii concert live in 1973. See why he's the king of rock and roll

@@KristinKali Elvis loved music, loved performing, and loved his fans! I read that throught his career, he got nervous before a performance! He was concerned he wouldn't be good enough. He always gave his best! Hard to believe, but he was afraid he wouldn't be remembered!!! His death was incredibly hard; especially since he died on my 3rd wedding anniversary! Ever since, it's been "the day Elvis died"; "oh, and our anniversary"! He actually became a "joke", and was made fun of by many people! So, it's very exciting to see young people discovering him and his music!! You'll hear plenty of negative about him; but I still think the good outways the bad!!! He had such a naturally sincere, charming, fun, respectful way about him. Not to mention his natural talent and good looks!!! 💯 Guess I'll just write a "book" here, since I haven't shut up!! LOL 🤣 He was born and raised in the gettho, wasn't real popular at school, was learning to be an electrician, and was driving a truck. One day, he recorded a song for his mom. Then, he was snatched up, thrown onto a stage, began touring, was put on TV, did a couple of movies, and became very famous very quickly. With all that, came MUCH criticism, disrespect, persecution; to the point of being called the "devil" by preachers, and "Christians". Parents banned their kids from seeing or listening to him! There was name calling, and threats. Somehow, he handled it all; at such a young age, and with no experience! He had death threats at different times, and wore a bullet proof vest under his jumpsuit sometimes. So much, when all he wanted to do was sing!!! 😎🕺 As you saw in the video, he had trouble being still. If music started, Elvis started moving! You've probably noticed his left leg going when he's performing. 🤣 He told someone that if he had to be still, he couldn't sing! A preacher from his childhood said he was a ball of energy set to music!!! 😅😪 Last thing, you've got to hear his laugh!!! After singing some of the songs so many times, he would change the words, just for fun. There's an audio of one time he did that, got tickled, and couldn't stop laughing through the rest of the song!!! Google "Are You Lonesome Tonight", laughing; you should find it. 🌟⭐🌠⚡

A lady once told the story of browsing at a Memphis car lot. She walked by this loaded Cadillac, and reacted like "WOW!" When she was leaving a few minutes later, the car manager stopped the woman, handing her the keys to the car. She asked what was going on. The guy pointed out to a man who had just left, and must have overheard her. It was Elvis. He paid for it, in cash, for her. Probably one of the most generous guys who ever lived. People who knew him well would always say of him: "He was just a good ol' boy." Indeed.

Elvis was before my time, but a brother in law, Rick, was a fan. Rick was a true original. He would go to a junkyard, buy a junked 57 Chevy (highly prized by collectors) and get it where it was just barely running. He would then sell it for 10 times what he spent to get it. Rick would then go fishing and when the money ran low, repeat the process. Rick died recently. I wasn't sad. I celebrated his life because he lived it on his terms and very few people do that today.

He was quite the character, with a great sense of humor. My absolute favorites are his gospel songs, you can see and feel his passion, the strength of his love comes through. His love for his band mates, his fans, his backup singers.. just shines through every performance.. what a tragic loss to all of us losing him so young.. RIP Elvis

This was his first concert after making those awful films, the first up till blue Hawaii were good, but not the others. He wanted to be a straight actor but Parker wouldn't allow it. He was petrified before the filming of this 68 special, and had to be coaxed out of dressing room. He was at his best here and up to the 70 live Vegas shows, where he was an adonis with a beautiful voice. He was a troubled soul, the prescription drugs helped him cope with his fame and the life he had, really no life at the end. He didn't want to be Elvis Presley anymore, just a normal life. He was a drug addict, that and his fame killed him at the age of 42. The most beautiful man to walk this earth inside and out. RIP Mr Presley, never forgotten ❤

When he first came out they did alot more than scream. They ripped his clothes right off his back, pulled out pieces of his hair as well as their own. One of his photographers in the 50's said the young girls would get so excited and emotional their bladder let go and the women in Vegas ran on the table tops to get to him. Some without underwear. He was the first white man to bring sexiness to musical performances and the girls and women of all ages went nuts. I wasn't born in the 50's and I was 14 when he died. I wish I would have seen him.
