I thought the 12 day advent calendars came from back when people used to do "the 12 days of Christmas" which were from like Christmas to Jan 6, so that is also an option if you want to extend your Christmas. Jan 6 used to be the end of Christmas season and it was mischief night and that's the whole thing with Shakespeare's 12th Night, all the crazy stuff happened during the 12 days of Christmas. And that's my history lesson for the day, you're welcome 😅

Hi Kristina I’m currently grieving the sudden loss of my dog( my child) it’s been almost a month and I’m a depressed and sad mess. How did you deal with losing liloo ? Should I get another dog ? Thank you and I’m glad you’re back ❤

I am not Kristina but also experienced the same. It took me a year to really be able to think about it without tears. I got another dog within 2 weeks after mine passed and the distraction of having to train and getting to know a new puppy really helped. Sorry for your loss and totally understand your pain💕

I think you should follow your heart- as for me, losing a soul dog (Leeloo) for me was absolutely devastating this year. I opted not to get a new dog - we want to allow for enough space for missing her - and honoring her. before every meal we pray for her and for the kids' grandfather who also passed this year (HB's father). we imagine Leeloo is in his lap like she always was when they were alive. give yourself space to grieve and when you're ready, or willing, God will place a special little soul in your life :) i'm so sorry for your loss. hugs!

I am very sorry for your losses as well I know you were the best dog mom to her ❤❤
