Such gorgeous furniture in that shop! Some folks just have the eye for everything beautiful! I could get lost in there for hours and hours! Needless to say that I'd be going home with bags and bags of goodies and my budget annihilated!

Oh my goodness! I have some dear friends who just (August 2020, two years after you made this video) bought a house on Bainbridge Island, and once this stupid pandemic is over, I am going to visit them and go to Churchmouse Yarns and Teas. After I purchase yarn and tea, I will return to their house and sit in their lovely garden, drink tea, and knit. Thank you for the video tour of this wonderful store.

@@kristyglassknits I was afraid of that. Hopefully at some point they will be able to re-open. Anyway, I'm still going to Bainbridge Island to see my friends--their summer has to be better than what we have in Texas-on-the-border-of-Mexico. I will just have to order on line and have it delivered to their house so it will be there when I arrive, and I can sit in their garden and drink tea and knit. Problem solved. Thanks for letting me know.

A fun tour -- I've been here, so it felt familiar! I replayed and replayed trying to catch the grey shawl knit in Isager Alpaca (6.37, right before & after you show the crocheted flowers shawl) that Melissa showed us. I looked at Churchmouse's patterns too, w/o finding yet. I don't know how to tackle spelling either the shawl or the designer. Can you recall what it is? Thank you!!

I visited Churchmouse when my husband and I went to Seattle last month! Everything was beautiful and so specially curated. There were almost too many options--I was so overwhelmed by options that I gave up and only bought one skein of alpaca sock yarn!

Oh I did REAL damage at the Churchmouse! AND I ran out of yarn and they were so so lovely when I called to get more shipped! I guess you didn’t get to the Tea Cozy Yarn Shop in Seattle. Lovely LOVELY shop and women! My husband didn’t even mind shopping in these stores and even helped pick out my yarn! I wish I could go back - we live in NJ - not like we don’t have great stores here - in fact, you should visit the new shop in my town called THE LOCAL YARN STORE -in SOUTH ORANGE NJ! PS I love your videos!

Such a nice store.. I always think it’s so funny that quilters, knitters, and crocheters MUST fondle fabrics snd yarns.. It’s an automatic, unconscious imperative.. Sometimes you aren’t even aware the constant touching, squeezing, and the occasional sniff.. 😊 Oh.. I was wondering... Did you feel that the prices reflected that high end boutique atmosphere?
