The Two of Wands IG page is the MOST satisfying thing. I also have been on the fence about whether or not to try knitting however, while I do love some things in their final material in a knit rather than crochet, her IG photos have re-lit my fire. Cannot wait to get more chunky yarn. It's my jam

love that she is mindful of developing patterns with yarn everyone can locate (and afford).

OMG I feel you on the whole thing of having to change from knitting to crochet to prevent your arms and hands from aching. I got interested in knitting two years ago but couldn't get the hand of it so I taught myself to finger knit, not long later my mother picked up some crochet hooks for me and I picked up crochet very very very fast and with in an hour finished a massive mandala which ended up being a yarn bomb project that is still up to this day and eventually it was the middle of the night and I was ridiculously tired and I decided I'm not going to be until I figure this shit out, so I finally got it and taught myself to knit. And now I am addicted, Fun fact I am the only student in my school to be threatened with suspension got knitting (dead serious, I promise I didn't do anything horrific I swear I am not a demon child ) anyways I have been watching your channel through the journey and I really look up to you :) sending positive vibes and lots of love

I loved this interview. She is so talented and inspirational. I love her style she designs such kool stuff. And her name is so awesome. I call my knitting needles wands as well I call my paint brushes and colored pencils wands. Because knitting is like magic when you think of it. Again really enjoyed this interview.

Fab interview!!! I too love both crafts, I always have crochet projects and knitting projects on the go, so whatever I'm in the mood for or have the brain power for it's there. I also like the puzzle aspect of the craft and love the challenge of it. So many relatable subjects in this one!

Do you have an issue traveling on an airplane with metal crochet hooks? I have to travel next week to NIH due to my neurological disorder, and there is going to be a lot of time in waiting rooms, and at least one day with nothing to do.
@kristyglassknits7 жыл бұрын
nope. You can check TSA they have a very thorough app/website saying what is and is NOT allowed

I did. I was just seeing if you had any recommendations. Since I will have an afternoon after all my checkins, I found a Michael's down that way. And I think I just found a LYS close by.

you should not have a problem. Scissors is probably the only issue if they are longer than 4" Good luck!

You both are so wrong regarding set in sleeves! First garment I ever knit RIGHT AFTER my first knitting class was a set in sleeve sweater. It is a matter of measurements. Obviously you both do not understand that with all your scarves and what-nots you design but yet you call yourselves designers -- BAHHHH!

Tom Booth your criticism tells me you must be having a bad day. I hope you feel better soon.
