Honestly feels like I see more Houdini Gross than ever. It’s really making me consider a more physically defensive Skarm because man losing your spiker is a nightmare and Gengar can’t switch in.

Houdini is really popular these days, it just gives a huge amount of value at little risk bc almost nothing survives it, and if you gengar you risk a mash to the face which is brutal

Try running protect in the lead slot! I've been messing around with protect dd Ttar lead ever since watching BKC's ADV Lead Metagame video and it works stupidly well into Houdini, they either lose Metagross for nothing or you get your mash switch-in turn 2.

@@andre-8420 It’s legitimately an insane lead. I would say it’s the best lead. You are basically guaranteed a trade and you get something valuable out of it a lot of the time.

Definitely. Choice Band Metagross is my favorite lead but I swear I always Houdini when my opponent reads it 😂

the hard gar g2 was safe since meta is only going to click boom or eq against opposing meta. not sure what the commentator is talking about it being a mash, there was no tar lead to draw mash

Aero did nearly win, Flygon hit 6/6 rock slides over the course of the game with just 3 pp left at the end. odds were about 20% to get 2 misses in the game, but over 50% if Aero only needed one miss (it needed 2, or 1 plus toxic miss/flinches to get in sub range). If Flygon had slid into TTar predicting aero switch that burns an important rock slide, vs aero getting the eq predict for an important extra leftovers and possibility to burn rock slide on a switch. Considering that 50/50 I would guess going into the late endgame with perfect play Aero had over 35% chance to win. (the extra rock slide on Tyranitar makes it so Flygon needs to hit 6/6 rock slides in the late endgame to win(7/7 total), or else Aero wins. (Aero can even win after this by flinching/toxic dodging back into sub range) Edit: realizing Flygon could have toxiced the Ttar at the end there instead, much safer. So Aero only winning about 20%. getting a single pp more rock slide out of Flygon earlier in the game would have done wonders though.

Big will love the commentary but please what are you ranting about game two why would a matta click mash on a metta you were talking like it was metta on tar but it wasn’t, only real options were boom or EQ unless your reading the switch. If I’m wrong I’d love to know why I’m an up and coming player hit top 5 on Ladder not long ago but I don’t see it? What am I not seeing? Also im asking gold mason for $5
