The lightness strength option is not tied to the mix parameter. It is tied to the lightness map option in the brush tip section. If you go to the brush tips tab, go to the predefined tips tab, there you can see a drop-down for brush mode. Choose lightness map from it. The lightness strength will be affecting that. Here you can read more about it in the manual - docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/brushes/brush_settings/brush_tips.html and docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/brushes/brush_settings/options.html#lightness-strength
