The last scene showed that the sister also fought. But initially she was ready to combat and hurt her sister and was intentionally plotting against her and anyhow wanted to get the man. She wasnt less toxic as shown. Just because she flipped at last doesn't mean she literally loved her, she was ready to bully her, snatch the guy, make faces etc and what not. She wasn't loyal at start, and even warned her on wedding night that he'll not be with somya rather her. She was always a toxic one

That’s why she treated her badly from childhood. She hated everyone. What happened to her sister was karma for staying silent all those years. She got taste of same medicine and her sister didn’t want the same happen to her like her mother so she helped her!
