He can only give an idea about what kriya yoga, but don't do it without initiation from a Guru. Yogoda satsanga society is the organisation founded by Paramhansa Yogananda himself to impart his teachings and I have been blessed to be a member of it.

@sangeeta963 yes but in this case the Guru himself said so, first you become a devout member read the lessons follow them carefully take guidance from the swamis and the Guru will act from samadhi. He clearly mentions this in the Autobiography of a Yogi that Paramahansaji founded Yogoda Satsanga Society of India/Self-Realization Fellowship to disseminate his teachings and to preserve their purity and integrity for future generations. He personally chose and trained those close disciples who head the Yogoda Satsanga Society/Self-Realization Fellowship Publications Council, and gave them specific guidelines for the preparation and publishing of his lectures, writings, and Yogoda Satsanga Lessons.

@@peterjsankoh6857 kriya yoga use shortest route to god. That is spine.we work in spine first with pranayama. One ideal pranayama is 44 seconds. In this one pranayama one year evolution take place. I think we have to disolve so many lifes karma in a single life to achieve ultimate. Such scenario kriya yoga is best tool. If choosing kriya yoga.. Choose it from real gurus who can demonstrate prana control that means stoping pulse and breathe. And also not altered version.

@ about 20 minutes - YSS and SRF can keep this Kriya Yoga technique a secret because they can't reveal it to everybody and need to check eligibility, But in the materialistic age the 'priestly class' kept it a secret - was it not the same reason that they were checking for eligibility also? Is this a Gupta hypocrisy way of telling the story? Is this the same 'priest bashing', 'brahmin bashing'?
