This is a playthrough using Prototype Jack in the Arcade version of Tekken 2 version B. Read on below for more information...
P.Jack is the personal sub-boss for Jack-2. He is an immediate playable character in this version of the game.
Alternatively you can also select him through the use of a secret command/code, shown below:
===== ALTERNATE WAY TO SELECT P.JACK =====
On the character select screen, do and press the following input commands:
Highlight Jack-2, Down, Down, hold Start, Up, Up
If you've done it correctly, P.Jack will be selected.
===== ABOUT P.JACK =====
As a robot character, being an alternative "prototype" design as a personal sub-boss for a "completed" robot (Jack-2) is a clever idea. Compared to his Tekken 1 design, he has a much more conservative look in Tekken 2, which has now become his staple design as his appearances in TTT1 and TTT2 shows.
===== GAMEPLAY =====
He is another derivative of Jack-2... with the main added extra of Paul's Tile Splitter & Punch. In Tekken 2 he also has a few unique moves to himself, such as a flying/levitating head stomp and a diving head slide.
===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====
---- His Stage 8 personal boss is Jack-2, and vice-versa.
---- He is also known as the Lost Memory Monster.
---- In the PS1 version of Tekken 2, when he is not operating as a sub-boss, his stage BGM is the Windermere theme ("Made Of Stone") from Tekken 1.
===== ABOUT ARCADE TEKKEN 2 Ver.B =====
This is an upgrade to Ver.A that adds some new moves; refines and balances out the gameplay; as well as having a more noticeable indication of the boss characters being available for selection. It seems that in the latest and last revision D (Ver.B, revision D) of the game, all the boss characters are immediately available on the character select screen (besides CPU Kazuya of course).
The input commands to select the sub-bosses from Ver.A works in this version of Ver.B.
However in some earlier revisions of Ver.B, only two of the sub-bosses (Wang and Armor King) are initially available, and the sub-boss hidden input commands from Ver.A does not work.
You can generally distinguish between Ver.A and Ver.B of the game by seeing what colour the winning icons (after a Round is won) under the lifebar are. If they are Red then it's Ver.A; if they are Green then it is Ver.B.
Interestingly, it should also be mentioned that in the Arcade versions of Tekken 2, there is a setting in the options/operator screen that allows you to set either Baek or Jun as the regular character on the character select screen.
