Since she is the warden of time, she herself can't grow old with the one she loves. She is there, sitting beside her loved one, slowly dying of age while she is there, sitting, as graceful as she is. For the lover, he might think this was the best life he could ever had, being in love with such a beauty and being loved by such gorgeousness. But for Kronii, this will only bring her pain as she watches her beloved rotting from the gears of time. She can rewind time, but for what? She knows the man she loves will die again, so she decides not to. She can freeze time, but the man cannot. She cannot spend eternity with someone she loves on a frozen universe, where nothing happens. The man could use Amelia's watch, but that Kronii wouldn't know him, since that's a different strand of time, and that's a different Kronii. Every power has its limit.
