i'm not sure why everyone is complaining. yeah they aren't 20 or whatever anymore. its called growing up and perfecting your skills. im a huge fan of Tell All Your Friends and dont get me wrong i'd love to hear an album just like that too, but i also appreciate when artist expand their versitility. I love Brand New as well and they are a huge example of how a band can completely change their style. you shouldnt always expect the same thing from a band. if youre a real fan you'll support anything

For a start if their vocals were "flawless " they'd be in a boy band not a rock band ... Their voices are raw and that's what I love personally! It sounds rough and raw and passionate!! Adams vocals never fail to send a shiver down my spine!! You prefer Fred and fazi? Then go listen to the records they're on or their bands! John is awesome and has and will always be a favourite of mine!

That's stupid. They weren't on Victory Records anymore. They are trying to have a mainstream sound. If they were a band like Social Distortion or Motorhead I would totally agree but don't mistake blown vocal cords with being "raw". Adam sounds like shit on every live recording I have ever heard and that is saying a lot considering he is easily my favorite singer.

I like this band. Adam is an excellent songwriter, and the music is very well composed. I do have to humbly disagree with the top comment. I have seen TBS, 5 times. 2 of the times they were amazing, 3 of the times, were honestly kind of rough. No singer is going to sing out of tune to get a raw quality to their acoustic sets. Acoustic sets are naturally raw, and because of that they show a musician's weaknesses. Vocally, these guys have always struggled. I still love the band though.
