VERY informative - THANK YOU!!! I'd be interested in seeing you do the same salt chamber test, and an extended test, with the NHOU product.

Nice to see a proper B177 test used. Considering the investment in that chamber (unless that's really outsourced) I'd think testing would be more extensive. More coupons, additional competitors. Mite try this on my new Colorado.

Curious, have you done the same experiment using brine also, or is your solution the same already? Because that's what we face here in the city most of the winter. On another note; If you guys are interested, you could use my car as a testimony. I have a 16 year old daily driven Mazda 3, coming up on 370k kms of use, which I've had Krown sprayed every year since day 1. Anyone in the know, would be aware the 1st Gen Mazda 3's were rust buckets, mine on the other hand is almost rust free. Great video btw.

Brine is typically a mixture of salt and water, so this experiment uses the same solution. And stay tuned... we just might be looking for cars like yours in the future!

Why no competitive products in the test like the steel wool?

How effective is it on a new vehicle that has been coated with wax on the frame from the factory? For instance all full size GM vehicles.
@KrownRustControl3 жыл бұрын
Coating products in general will chip, crack and break down over time. Krown will help to protect the metal under the coating as it deteriorates. As far as GM trucks specifically, there are a number of technical bulletins available online from GM relating to issues with the manufacturers coating. We feel that Krown is a much better long term solution for protecting and extending the life of your truck.

So the "very popular oil based" appears to be Rust Check. It would be interesting to see Krown vs something like ACF-50. ACF-50 is great in that it carries a mil-spec, safe on electronics, polymers (rubbers/plastics) whatever is on aircraft and automotive. I find finding Krown more difficult, ACF-50 can be difficult and Fluid Film is everywhere.
