Finding trades is like finding fish. Fish can be randomly caught in any part of a lake, but they tend to congregate in specific areas at different times of the year. Similarly, big trades can be hooked at any point on a chart, but they appear with greater frequency around the edges of the SQB-AMAC zones . If you want to capture big moves then you should look at trading this strategy. Yuril zubong brings hedge fund standard with this strategy.

Quick question at roughly 12:22-12:32. It said "buy" on his list, how is he shorting? Is "buy" another term used for buying to short? Sorry, I'm still learning
@kroyrunner896 жыл бұрын
when you close a short position, you buy back the shares that you shorted to net out to no position. so think of it as a normal trade, but in reverse. first you "sell" to open a new position, then you "buy" to close it
@miltonfriedman22265 жыл бұрын
Scaling in and out might be your edge don’t give it the sloppy “it might not work for you” getting the money on every stretch is really important, overbought / oversold conditions are very dangerous to buy / sell into, you have adaptable positions, that might be the very reason you are consistent. Securing the gains every step of the way is a very very clever decision to factor in the increasing odds of the price coming right back at you. I never thought of it like that, not taking profits along the way when the odds are stacking against you is gambling even when you have your risk set. thats next level risk management. Brilliant.

why didnt you use that 5 area that had resistance and a lot of volume what made you choose 4.10
@Savage-do3vz4 жыл бұрын
tbh if the stock was a day 1 play, 4.5 and 5 dollars would have been a better resistance level. However, this was day 2 of the stock's move up so it's already overextended enough. However, if this was first day of running up i would have def. played off of that 4.50 to 5 dollar area.

Hey man. Love the way you simplify things. Saving up to buy your DVD b/c honestly i don't know anyone else who simplifies things the way you do. got 3 quick questions for you though, and am very curious to know your opinion: 1) if you were master at both long or short, and only had to pick one (based on speed of price movement, chances of being right long term etc), which would you pick and why? 2) Out of all your trading strategies (buying OTC pumps, shorting overextended spikes etc), if you had to pick just one for the rest of your trading career, which would it be and why? 3) Last, out of Volume, level 2, and the chart pattern (flags, double tops etc), what do you think is the MOST important (i know they all are, but if you had to choose one). Thanks a lot man. Love your humility too.
@kroyrunner899 жыл бұрын
***** Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate them! 1. I would pick short, I feel like there are more opportunities day to day, and for me at least, I wind up sitting back and letting the trade come to be a lot more. 2. Shorting overextended spikes, this is a setup i think will always be around. Also, listed stocks trade SO much more volume, so it's possible to take far more size as you get better and better. With OTCs, you're often very limited by the volume. 3. Chart pattern for sure, especially what the daily chart looks like!

Tim Grittani What's up Tim. I'm curious as to why the daily chart is your favorite. Is it simply personal preference or is there more to it than that? I'm brand new and only have 2 days (paper trading) underneath my belt. I watched a ton of Tim Sykes's vids and learned about options as well. Excited to be beginning my trading journey and always looking to increase my knowledge bank. Thanks.
@kroyrunner899 жыл бұрын
James Kolesnikovich for me, the daily chart is the "big picture". you want to see the long history of the stock, and previous areas where dips held, or spikes failed. it gives you an idea of where the stock typically runs into trouble when trying to move one direction or the other. now that's not to say these levels will hold 100% of the time, but it just helps me make my decisions and judge where to base risk levels off of
@James-ip5gz9 жыл бұрын
Tim Grittani I appreciate the reply. So support/resistance levels are "stronger" on longer time frames due to the price not being able to breakthrough for days at a time, compared to only minutes on a minute chart.

@kroyrunner899 жыл бұрын
+Travis Liburd although i do touch on that a bit in this clip, it's something that gets explained more in depth in the chapter introduction when i'm outlining the strategy
@michaelpyouknowme9 жыл бұрын
+Travis Liburd It is a pattern chart look at the 1y 1D CACH chart today 2/18/16... it was the 1st day spike yesterday and since penny stocks are so predictable, they mostly always fail, so today after the morning spike it went green/red... they are crap companies.
@michaelpyouknowme9 жыл бұрын
+Travis Liburd If you see this, look at NNUP for tomorrow 2/18/16 and see if you can try to find out when it might fail. Remember by looking at the 52 week chart that it has failed at .040 on 2 different occasions.... AND yes I'm sure Tim was concerned that it might break that barrier but if it does that's why he says he would cut losses early, it will be a loss but at least you cut them before the loss becomes too big.
@michaelpyouknowme9 жыл бұрын
+Travis Liburd So in this case, (NNUP) because the resistance point was broken, which was that .040 that I was talking about above, it created a new 52 week high, as long as you watch it to see that it wasn't a fake out then you would want to buy that stock because as the Tim's say, you usually always want to buy breakouts because they make new highs.

Why is it that you choose 4,10 as a reference point? I know you said its because of the volume on those days where it hit 4,10 but in the chart you can see that before that 4,10 point it hit 4,90-almost 5 why bot take that as a reference point?the volume was also good there
@kroyrunner899 жыл бұрын
Kevin Costa Well it's mainly that 4.10 was the first major resistance point, had it made it through there I would have cut the loss and then regrouped and let it spike more and then started my next position playing off that 4.90 area instead. But since 4.10 had failed the last time it was running, I thought good odds it failed again here

Hey Tim and others, I just lost my battle today.. was trying so hard to learn this properly, was watching all of your videos, spend most of my savings for courses and memberships and just lost my very last savings. Over past 2 weeks I went over my journal and logs and actually realized I should be profitable but I was not because I had too tiny account and was pushing it too much to grow it bigger that I made stupid mistakes, chased, fomo etc. Right now I'm fucked up because I don't have any money and got to go to second job just to earn for expenses, debt and then try to save for next tiny account. I really desire to get one last shot with normal sized account before pushing my dreams out by 2 years (that's what it will take me to save 5k). I know you don't give a shit about me or my struggle, everybody's got own however maybe there are some traders who were in similar situation (even tho I doubt there is many traders who are trading for 6 years and still blowing out - more in my story) and are willing to help out a little bit.. Anyway this is my story and if someone decides to help me in my last shot at this I could not thank you enough! www.gofundme.com/help-me-to-fund-me-new-trading-account

You have too much money to set a price on a DvD.. I can never afford a $1700 dvd ....

Tim Grittani Yeah i wanna become a trader and you, superman & sykes is my motivation, i've spent 20-25 hours this week only to watch your plays and so :) Also i've tried to join the millionaire challenge but seems nearly impossible, i know i've the right mindset and dedication to join the top 10 so it's a bit boring that i probably won't get a spot :) But i do my best!

sorry but you are a total joke. if your making so much why do you even bother. Every human mind has a limit of emotions and not sure if your emotional limit is that high to trade that many shares but I ask again, Why?

Alberto Franco I'm not sure I understand your question? If it's why am I selling a dvd, should I really just give away something I worked hundreds of hours on? If it's why do I play so much size, well, it didn't happen overnight. It's been a long slow process scaling up size and getting comfortable going larger when the opportunity is there. This example alone was a 25%+ fader from it's highs though, no matter how big or small your account is, that's significant opportunity

Tim Grittani to make it more simple, your are making millions, why deal with thousands? Live rich quietly and stop looking like a joke. If you are making so much money any normal level headed human would help others without charging a penny, if not the mass just a few that are around your circle of life.

Alberto Franco oh i definitely understand your point and i do give a lot back for free on my blog for those who don't want to pay for anything

Tim Grittani Yeah don't listen to that hater. The Information you are giving out is worth millions, If People are to cheap to pay a few hundred bucks then so be it. If you were to pay for a course in a college, You would easily pay $5,000-$15,000 dollars to learn how to trade and your basicly learning from somebody that has book smarts!. Your learning from a actual millionaire!.

Wallsberg Entertainment look I am no hater, but what I do know is in this line of business they are so many that pray on the weak. Not sure If I am talking to Tim logged in on one of his other accounts but I am sure Tim knows exactly what I saying. When it comes to trading its the easiest profession to learn but at the same time its the hardest to master. I am just someone that happen to care about other people and willing to bet that Tim does not care about others as much as I do. I personally know many pro traders that do not wast there time on selling DVD's to make more money. If Tim is not one of those leeches he should make his finance public. After all if I ever would need heart surgery, I would like to know how many patient died under that doctors watch. Its funny that all those so call pro traders that are trying to sell you a service claiming that they make so much money with what they are selling yet they do not disclose what that are making monthly if not yearly. Its so odd.
