How easily do you think the chrome plating you use would tarnish/scratch? I'm considering the OWK2 because I love the finish, but I'm just concerned about the longevity.

It's hard for me to explain how excited I am for this! Will it be possible to make the red button be the activation switch instead of the brass one?

Yes. It’s just a matter of wiring. I quickly did these installs so didn’t really mind which button did what. Also, since this is Proffie, you can also edit it just by the code. Really simple.

You can have it whichever way you want. Just a simple change of code. Personal preference really. 👍

Question, Khal! I received mine a few days ago and I'm blown away by the quality. Excellent work! I am disassembling it and can't find a way to take off the top aluminum piece that has the 3 vertical bars going up. Do I have to take the LED bezels out?

Yes. Exactly. Those bezels secure it in place. Just be careful removing the shroud because the plungers underneath are spring loaded. If you slide that thing right off without ensuring your hands are prepared, those springs will fly out! I plan to make a closer disassembly videos shortly.

So it’s mounted just on top of that ‘tunnel’ area that the wires pass through on the board holder chassis piece ;)
